Chick magnet possibly, but in my high school during the mid-70's (I'm old) it was one of many muscle cars of the period. My highschool acually had a 1/4 drag strip along the school.
I wish I kept the stang, would have been nice to have in the garage. But I'm not alone regretting selling these examples of the the era.
Same with our HS parking lot. It was full of Chevelles, Camaros, Firebirds, GTO's, Mopars and 442's. I had a '70 Challenger with a 383 in it and I regret selling it every day! :frown:

I am 50+

Mom taught me how to drive on stick shift volvo.

My first Ford: '79 F150 with a 3 on the tree! Forest Green. Man I loved that truck!

I owned a couple of Rangers in the mid 90's. Including a 4 banger (I think it was a '92) with a composite single leaf spring in the rear. You hit a pot hole in that POS and the back end would hop like a ball. It was not a given that when the bounce stopped you would be facing forward. It was, in my opinion, a death trap. I traded it after a couple years for a '94 with a 6 cylinder with a proper rear suspension.

Not sure if it's a Ford, but it's my first car and what I learned to drive with.
It was a beauty in it's day.

65 Chevy with a GMC grill.
My first car/truck.
So yes, both were my first.
I don't keep it pretty, I use it as a truck.
