I traded in this '05 F150 Lariat 4x4 for my Ranger. This gold one replaced my '04 green one that got lost in a tragic accident in '2012. I bought my green '04 new in late '03, so combined I had them over 18 years. It was time for an upgrade for sure. "Yep ,same camper shell" LOL

2015 Chevy suburban. Sometimes I do miss the seating capacity and room, also the interior storage space. But the transmission shit the bed and was a constant and expensive issue and I really needed a truck bed and an off road capable truck. No regrets. One day I plan to get another large suv, probably a Ford this time. But will keep the tremor along with it.

Thought I would try a truck again so I traded my 17 edge for a 21 Ranger Lariat FX4, dog likes the truck he can look out from a higher perch, I like the little 5' bed to haul stuff to and from the boat. All in all I like the truck, she rides a bit tougher, but hey its a truck, someday when I get the UAC's, Fox 2.0's installed it might ride a bit differently. I do miss the sun roof, auto down windows on both sides, and a tad less road noise but hey I now gots me a truck.

I sold my 2015 Taurus with 18,000 miles to make room for the new truck when it gets here. Then my 06 Ranger will be sold in anticipation of retiring in a few years.

A 2005 Excursion Eddie Bauer 6.0 diesel. Super clean truck even with 198k. I bought it because I a) needed the interior room temporarily and b) got a screaming deal and thought I could flip it and make a few bucks (plus who doesn't want to rip 600ft lbs of torque around?). Worst vehicle purchase of my life. It ended up cooking a head gasket within a few months (surprise surprise) despite being "bulletproofed" already, and so I traded it in for the ranger. Head gasket failure wasnt immediately obvious so the dealer didn't notice and I only lost a little money on the trade in. I could have got a lot more in private sale if someone didn't know about the head gasket but I would never do that to an individual who is looking for reliable transportation. The dealer can fix it and probably still make money on it. Shoulda never bought it and just got a new Ranger right away. Lesson learned.

We sold all of these in the last 6 months. I miss them but looking forward to the new ones we have on order.

2008 Sport Trac that I got new. Body and interior were mint because I'm fanatical about maintaining and cleaning my vehicles. But at 212,000 miles a head gasket let go and I judged it not worth fixing after I'd already spent a lot on repairs to pass the last two state inspections. Engine has to come out to change the head gaskets and then you might as well do the timing chains too so I was looking at another $3000 at minimum. Its time was done.
Pic here is with 190,000 daily driven miles on it including Pennsylvania winters.
