I know that stuff is still on the back of the truck. I had to slow crawl to the grocery store and and Scavenge for what I could find that I needed.
Same as Sunday just with a clear ish windshield to look through.

In town that won't blow off. Highway speed will jettison it on the windshields behind you!😂 Tonneaus don't get the same "updraft" as the roof.

I've got over 50K miles on the original Bridgestone Duelers, but when I finally do replace them it will be with Michelin. Which ones did you get?
Defenders.
Researched this forum quite a bit and took the advice. Was concerned with towing, do 5-7 k per yr. Supposedly, these have stiffer sidewalls which help with load. Add in better road ride . We'll see but @ $275/ tire, I'm hoping its true. I've always gotten good advice here so i'm betting I'll be happy.

It’s about 12°F here but I will be grilling. Unlike Dave, I will be wearing long johns AND pants!

Drove my beautiful rapid red Ranger, which now looks like a rolling salt block, to Williamsburg across the ferry to take the big girl for a ride and walk around in Lowe’s. She enjoyed that and is now all cozy after her dinner.
I can’t wait till it warms up so I can take this truck in for a spa day.
How do these trucks hold up with this salty mess?

Made it in to work today. Didn't attempt it yesterday. Some of the roads are still Sketchy, but Highway 82 wasn't to bad.

Hopefully the drive home will be better. 🙏
For those of you questioning if anyone was hurt or injured in the process of my driving the truck to work with the ice and snow still on the hood. The answer is No. I was driving at slow speeds even when on the highway and was watching the traffic as well as any movement from the ice and snow that was on the hood in this image.

Clay, you've really got to take that snow off of the hood, otherwise at exactly the wrong moment, it's practically guaranteed to break loose and cover your entire windshield.
There's a 99.99% chance that this will happen a millisecond before the car in front of you slams on their brakes, a deer decides to jump out of the woods to cross the street, or anything of that nature.
Don't forget that as the engine is running, it's heating up and melting the bottom layer of that block, so it'll be free-floating sooner or later.
