What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Hauled a few loads of topsoil to the town dump. First time running near max payload, the truck rode great with the extra weight in back.

Went for a drive to visit @subquark this morning. You won’t believe what David made me do……

But it was worth it. We chatted about the Queen over a big bowl of poutine.

I've been throwing garbage bags in the bed til I leave in the mornings cause I'm too lazy to open the garage door just to toss out garbage.

Shined her up and parked it in the garage. I've got my ferocious guard dog keeping an eye on her. ?

She went on her first Offroad voyage. ? just a simple dirt trail with ruts and loose rocks. Onx rated it a 3/10. Went from about 3000 to 8000 ish feet up. The trucks Offroad guage did show a few inclines at 14 degree's. All in all the 2WD ranger did great. Had the locker on just to be safe but most could be done without. Stock hancooks in the LT flavor handle it fine. Aired down to about 28 psi. All in all a good first Offroad adventure. I can see why people like doing it.

Took the XLT and the wife to town for farmer's market. Got some cucumbers and mini-taters......topped off with gas and drove home!

Over 200 miles with the Element on there, 15.8MPG reported by the truck, reset the trip when I loaded the Element and looked at it when it was unloaded.

Follow up story on this dump run. There was a 4g Ranger at the landfill with a 3” lift and 285/75R16s. It appeared to be in nice shape and the young guy who owned it was very proud of it. If only he could be proud of the install of those “Raptor” lights.

You'd like to be able to say they look good when it's dark, but even then I bet you can tell they're not lined up right.

Follow up story on this dump run. There was a 4g Ranger at the landfill with a 3” lift and 285/75R16s. It appeared to be in nice shape and the young guy who owned it was very proud of it. If only he could be proud of the install of those “Raptor” lights.
