I thought you were going to mention Ranger Pride! But as a fellow Canadian, well our love of the Queen kind of screws with our perspective! =p

Thank for the kind words. Most on here are very helpful and work hard to keep this a great forum but there is a drawback. It does cause you to drain bank accounts and wallets because we all love spend other peoples money. ?

Yup the damper is the gateway to some really weird fetishes, maybe I should add a warning label to them?:bandit:
End of month statement

I really don’t have anything exciting or informative to contribute to this thread; but I haven’t posted in weeks and I’m tired of riding the bench.

Anyway, after sitting idle while we were on vacation I could tell the Ranger was also feeling a bit antsy and wanting to get back in the game…so I obliged.

We ran a few errands around town together….

Then we stopped off for a quick bite to eat. Unfortunately, it was my turn to pick up the check….and since she hadn’t been given a full meal in months (I usually just top her off here and there) I wasn’t really prepared for the bill.

lol, I’m now thinking it’s time we both get a bit more serious about our diets….

Got my Bilsteins installed in the front to match the rear.

Nice improvement.

Not quite as dramatic an improvement as the rear shocks were, but still very noticeable and well worth it.

Also got the artificial engine noise disabled. So much quieter!

Now, I have a full set of FX4 shocks and struts for sale for only $5 and you pay shipping.

Or if you send me $10 for them I'll go ahead and chuck them into the trash for you and save you all the hassle.

Edit: Now that I've had the chance to drive on some of my local gravel washboard roads, I need to update my comment and say that the front IS just as dramatic an improvement as the rear, maybe more. SO much better on the uneven surface.

It just glides now where before it would skitter everywhere.

Should've done this a long time ago.

Yesterday was the second road trip for the ranger to check highway milage. I put 268 windy miles on it yesterday, about 95% was interstate.. The first was 231 miles of secondary roads, about 95% of it was open roads with calm winds and a few town mixed in. The first was 27.9 mpg and the second was 24.2 mpg for an average of 26 mpg. Sticker says 26 so I'm happy.

I'll give you 2 shocks with free shipping.

Here they are:

1. Kim Kardashian has loose morals. Shocking!

2. Her sisters do too. Shocking!

Now send me the $1.62 and I'll make up something really cool about aliens.

Got me ride on mower back today, and the verdicts is in.

Reason for not starting?

Bad battery. 12.99V on charge, 2.03V from solenoid on startup. Seems that hitting the stump and shake from the hit got all the sulfate buildup in battery moving and toasted it. Now the causality of all things is funny.. It seems that the inner tube on the tire blew and in the first 50 yards I did with the mower caused the front tire to deflate and lower the mowing deck. This resulted the mowing deck hitting the stump which the mowing deck was supposed to go over and caused the abrupt stop, which caused the abrupt shock, which causes the sulfate shakedown and complete loss of the battery.

Anyway, full service on the mower (as requested). All liquids (oil, hydro, power steering), all filters, new battery, new blades, new plugs and works, and it's all fine and dandy. 480$ later and the thing is back at the yard, plowing though the grass. 24h service (with a 12% customer discount) is something I'm willing to go back to.

And what's this to do with the ranger? Worked fine as towing vehicle (although I see some rust on the tow bolt).

Boring, I know. Went to Canadian Tire for weed killer - saw this Jeep “off-roading” in downtown Toronto.

I’m pretty sure he was lost - either that or looking for tire shop. Check out the wear on all five tires.

Hauled a couple of sport bikes to the racetrack with my son. Over 300 miles, roundtrip. Really great day. Truck towed effortlessly. Safety features saved me a couple of times. Curve control, lane keeping and BLIS worked amazingly. ACC saved me a lot of headache. Passing semis and slow vehicles on freeway was without effort. This truck really impressed today.
