I park like that all the time when there's a large empty space by the curb. But when I did that I got accused of parking crooked. :facepalm:Just don't let Duke @DukeCanBuildit see this or you'll never live it down! Trust me on this one, he'll save the pictures for life. :sunglasses: ?
Yes, I have a file archive system with robust search functionality. People should also be reminded to never park like that in Arizona. A Barrel Cactus may look pretty but it will eat your truck‘s door.

Dug it out of my daughter's driveway in Concord, MA so we could shovel the snow, and parked in the yard so the plows could get by. Then put it back in the driveway. Still snowing so will end up repeating the whole process...

Hi Folks,

Today the Ranger was peacefully sleeping in the garage when it got startled into shuttle service to follow Margie to the Ford/Lincoln Vehicle Hospital. Seems the 2020 Nautilus needs a batteryendectomy and a likely replacement. Maybe even a BCM fix too....don't know... This afternoon, hopefully, the Ranger will take Margie to retrieve a recovered Nautilus. Then the Ranger and the Nautilus can kabitz in the parking lot of Coach's Sports Bar while Margie I enjoy a malted beverage and a Montana Burger ( our favorite ). Then home the garage in the much warmer temperatures of today. Ranger will stand ready in case needed to transport our Tortoise, Tito, on a ride to "loosen" him up after his 5½ month sleep...

Best,
Phil

I started out early this morning. Stopped at the gas station, went to the hardware store, went to the Walmart.

I couldn't bring myself to park in the hardware store parking lot even though there were plenty of spaces. A disturbance in the Force®, I guess. So I parked in the Panda Express parking lot next door because it wasn't open. :D I still hug one side of the space, as usual.

As I'm walking out of the Walmart, I come face to face with an older, taller, and dirtier version of my Ranger. It was a 2019 or early/mid 2020 because it had the Ecoboost badge. The owner is all about the "Biggest tires, no lift?" lifestyle.

You can see mine parked way, way, back there.

I like the big tire no lift. Thats what i am doing as soon as my tires wear out.

Me and my buddy ranger went to nearby town for some groceries and liquor store. Now he's sitting at the yard while I'm sipping some and waiting for a flame war.

Not today, but yesterday. I also don't have any picture or video.

I pulled an F-250 plow truck out of a hole that it had dug itself into. 2 plow trucks at my girlfriends apartment building, silver truck had gotten its plow stuck in the snow bank pushing snow and while trying to get out sig a hole about 7 inches deep of mud in the back and a couple inches deep in the front. Red truck, who I think is the "brains" of the operation, was apparently trying to use their plow to get them unstuck from the snow bank and managed to do the exact same thing. I saw them slinging mud when I was going to move my truck for them to plow! First we tried traction boards, but the ground around the wheels was too frozen solid to dig and get them in a good place, so I finally said screw it I'll just pull you out. Got them out in about 5 seconds lmao.

Besides actually getting to pull out this big truck with my midsized ranger, I'd have to say my favorite part while we were attaching the tow line (after already trying traction boards) was another resident coming up and going "you gotta put some shovels under the tires" and just nobody even acknowledging them.

Hi Folks,

Today the Ranger started service as the Poopmobile... Our Tortoise, Tito, awakened from 5½ months of sleep a corner of our great room. I fed him one little strawberry...his favorite desert.... However he has not pooped for all this time and is constipated...Go figure! So the remedy is to take the Tortoise for a drive where the jostling helps loosen him up...so put down a rubber mat in the rear seat footwell, place one tortoise on the mat and drive around for about 30 minutes.... However...no success yet...so tomorrow we try again.... Sheesh!

Best,
Phil

I drove my Scab over 500 miles with FOUR adult men in it. That's right. Nearly 10hrs on the road with two dudes nearly six feet tall in the back seats of the supercab. We were on a ski trip together and carpooled back. They guys knew what they had signed up for and while they were a little uncomfortable, they survived. Bed was loaded down with seven pairs of skis, four pairs of boots, a cot, duffle bags etc. It all fit nicely under my tonneau cover. Ticked over 20k on the journey. Not bad for 11 months of ownership! Most of the journey was above 6000ft elevation, and we crossed a few passes near 10k. Averaged 23.1 mpg on the dash, 22.2 hand calc. That's with very slightly oversized tires that aren't corrected in the computer so they skew the mileage a small amount. I got 21.5 mpg hand calc on the way out there a few days ago, so wind definitely played a part in the better milage this time around.
