Be glad you left when you did. I drove south bound I95 the day before. Stopped at the GA welcome center, nice trip so far.I drove the Ranger from Georgia to New Jersey yesterday. It was exhausting! But it's good to be seeing family. And I have a great view!
On my return trip I got into some weather in SC. I actually used my snorkel on a flooded portion of interstate. The car ahead of me swerved right to avoid the deep water, causing the tractor trailer to my right to swerve left into my path, forcing me onto the shoulder where the water was DEEP!Be glad you left when you did. Then the rain dumps started coming and there's the sign stretching across the highway. "Accident marker 88. All lanes blocked"
Long story short, I came to a halt at exit 93, and barely crawled for the next 2 hours with continuing rain downpours. Fun times.
Good news is the Ranger had no cooling issues even with ac on, drank a bit of fuel but not bad, and I made it to destination safely. This was my first long journey in the truck. Trip average 22.3mpg.
Free firewood where you live is like free natural gas and power here in Hogtown - nice score Gary! What surprised me about the wood in the Ranger, was that each of the three rows of stacked wood, was almost a bush buggy trailer full. Pic is of the second row in the trailer. The Ranger holds a lot of fire wood.
Man, I thought my garage was tight. Please post the link to the giant shoe horn you use to get your truck in there. ?New emblems
It was already split. I could not pass it up, even if it was Basswood.Free firewood where you live is like free natural gas and power here in Hogtown - nice score Gary!
Was it already split or was that your handiwork?
Going up that last rock must have been tight with the approach angle. Very neat!Climbed a man-made mountain…
