Live in AZ for 10 years with 110+ temps and you'll see how cold it is once the temps drop below 70. 🥶

When we lived in South Fla, Dade County, during winter there were maybe 3-4 days where it got below 50 degrees and everyone wore their heavy winter jackets.....funny as hell.

Travelling from Kamloops to Airdrie, my Tremor reported these impressive numbers: 8.6 l/100km (27.3mpg)

That’s some incredible mileage - did someone tow you up Roger’s Pass?

To give folks some perspective, that’s from the interior of BC, over the Rocky Mountains, through the foothills into just north of Calgary with barely any flat prairie driving. It would be like driving from Yakima, WA to Great Falls, MT but with a few more mountains and over higher mountain passes.

8.6 L/100 km converts to 27.4 mpg (U.S. Gallon)

haha… Yes I am surprised too. I think it might be because of strictly following the speed limit throughout, which is mostly 110 km/hr.

This is for the entire trip, return route Airdrie —>Lake Louise—>Jasper—> Kamloops—> Vancouver. Some city driving in Calgary and in towns we stopped at.

That’s impressive. I’ve made the trip between Calgary and Vancouver a bazillion times and it’s pretty amazing to get those numbers with all that mountain driving. Nice!

Thought I’d start a thread to post about what you have done with your Ranger today or any day for that matter!

Be it hauling, towing, off-roading, mall crawling, grocery getting, tire roasting, flexing on Toyota’s or anything else.

If you did, it let’s see it!
Rode up to the Pisgah Inn to loaf and watch all the folks up there over Labor day. No leaf lookers until later in month.

Drove into town to grab some lunch. I’m not sure what @Kristina ’s issue is with food in the truck - I’m mean, it fits so perfectly in the console, how could it not belong there?

Stopped by a local independent automotive service shop to see if they had a road force balancer. They didn’t have one but the stop wasn’t a total loss - there was a very nice 1973 (maybe) Oldsmobile Omega out front…

…and a cool ‘48 Ford pickup project truck inside one of the bays...

They even created French fries holder for my Raptor. Intentionally I’m sure.
But, times have changed. I have been dating an offroader who is a Toyota guy and we have every day lunch together. Eating in whatever vehicle it just happens.

Welcome to the Dark Side. 😃 See? This is proof that Toyota guys are a bad influence. Yes, worse than the guys on Ranger5g.com.

Hmmmm.
Well, we all know what has to happen now
You take the palm of your right hand and smack him flat on the forehead and yell in your best imitation American Southern accent:

BEEEEE HEEEALLLLD!

Praise Ford! 😉

Just back from three days of camping with my dog. Fall is in the air. I’m five years into ownership and still loving this truck as if it were day one. Zero complaints.

Hey Vince, The truck is still looking great. That’s quite a setup you have going on there. Very nice. Your tent is something I haven’t seen before - what’s it all about?

Also, I can’t quite make out the rear bumper attachment - is that a bike rack?

Thanks!

The tent is a Darche Dirty Dee 1100 Swag sitting on top of a XXL Teton Cot. The cot makes such a huge difference. Makes it easier to get in and out of the tent.

I have a black 1Up bike rack attached to the rear hitch.

hope that helps!
