Swapped out the OE front stabilizer links with SuperPro's adjustable. Out of all the mods I've done, this one was probably the most fun. The process to set them without any preload was really satisfying, like a sudoku for the brain.

It is genuinely surprising how much roll these eliminate in corners. Along with the Tom Woods one-piece, this is another mod that made me question why I waited so long.

This may be insanely simple and many may have known, but discovered the button to turn off the infotainment while I’m driving.

IMG_1764.webp

in the settings there’s a “display” on the second page, which brings us here. Tap “display off” and the screen goes dark.

when reversing, the reverse camera will turn on as needed and then darken once out of reverse.

if I need the screen I just tap it to wake.

driving this way at night was absolutely sublime.

thought I’d share for anyone who didn’t know.
With my RS the NA "Sony" radio face plate didn't have a dedicated display off button, so I had to use the same method you mentioned there. The EU "Sync" radio face plate having a dedicated display off button was one of the main reasons I swapped that.

We have an FSA - flexible spending account- for medical stuff through our company. Gotta use it or loose it. So one purchase was an updated first aid kit. And it fits like a champ 😀

I have two that are similar to yours and they come in really handy. One I use for first aid supplies and the other I keep a few of my suppressors in and they attach to my rifle bags.

Yes, you need a laptop and the Forscan ( https://forscan.org/download.html )program and something like this: http://amazon.com/dp/B081VQVD3F?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_5
There are a world of changes you can make, just be careful. Tons of info here, on Youtube and elsewhere.

If your new to Forscan, it is a good idea to save backups of your asbuilt files (all of them) before you make any changes. It makes it easy to undo things if any of your changes don't do what you expect. You can also save a backup when you get settings you like.

Changed the oil yesterday afternoon. Weird I know, but I always find that task to be so satisfying. Makes me happy and I feel like it makes the truck happy. :facepalm:Pretty sure I heard the truck purring after I put it back in the garage.

Looking forward to driving it today. That extra 53HP due to clean oil is always exciting.

No not weird, I'm looking forward to that task as well. I'm still 700 miles away from 3000 since my last change and I'm getting impatient 😂

Chipping away at the pile...
Installed new Diode Dynamics Ditch Light Brackets. They are beefier. The vibration is gone at driving speeds. I just need to take them back off and start cutting & welding. They sit Too High,,, Too Far Forward,,, and Too Far Outboard.

Installed the Dongar Dashcam Power Adapter and AeroForce Technology Interceptor OBD2 gauge today. Took longer to pull out the old 10 foot cable I had hidden previously. Very happy so far with both. The Dongar was a very easy install. The only thing is the dash cam powers off immediately with the key, not the delay at the 12V power ports.
I have searched for a long time to find a boost gauge I liked and this gives me the bonus of trans temp or pretty much anything else I want. Setting up the gauge wasn't too bad and I like the mounting location. The right mount came thanks to Amazon's rather generous return policy. I finally found one that doesn't block anything and is fairly unobtrusive yet easy to read while driving.

That looks like a "must have" when I decide to re-do my suspension.

These will offer a lot of protection to the LCAs. I hit mine all the time. These are good to keep them protected. And they're cheap, relatively speaking.
