First wheel/tire rotation. Used ICON lug nuts that I got off of someone on the forums. But, they’re quite a bit narrower and you see some bare aluminum around the lugs…it got dark out and the truck needs a bath. We’ll see if they last. Might save them for a different set of wheels. But, they’re better than the cheap rusty ones that were on there.

Shackle mounts are on, FYI you'll need some washers for everything to sit right with the FP bumper, the welds keep the brackets from sitting flat and bonus! the Rough Country brackets for the skid plate move it back about a half inch, so you have to deepen the slots in the FX4 skid plate where it bolts to the frame in the rear for it to fit
Pierced nipples - sexy. ?

Public Service Bulletin: the instructions with this bumper kinda suck

It tells you to put the lower deflector back in, you can't without modifying it. It won't fit.

This stupid thing.

That said, 60 seconds with a Dremel and you can get it back in IF you so desire, however, only an option if not installing a winch. It's square in the way of the winch mounting area, so it will NOT work even modified, if you're running a winch on this bumper

I installed the Ford Performance Air Oil Separator. My local dealer wanted, if you can believe this $556.00 to do this 20 minute installation. It actually probably didn't even take that long. Pretty sad those rip offs.

I had a breather on a chevy equinox. they had issues with the pcv collecting moisture, freezing, and causing issues with seals. Anyway, the one I installed seemed to always cast a smell of hot oil after driving. I guess it was doing its job but didn't care for the smell of oil in the cabin.

If that becomes the case it'll be coming off, don't need that. There's definitely blowby on these engines so I figure relieving the pressure, if it's not obnoxious like fumes etc can't be a bad thing.

We know fuel and moisture are getting past the rings because Ford put a separator on the side of the engine for a reason, unfortunately it dumps everything it collects into the oil pan ?

The separator I installed on the PCV side filled up once already with about 3oz of fuel smelling moisture and some gunky oil mixture at the bottom

Seems proof positive stuff is entering the case, and with it pressure if I understand it correctly. We're just working the gaskets extra hard, not seeing the harm unless the cabin starts smelling like an oil spill.

I mounted dual neutralizers and tricked it out to help out the local SWAT Team.

That is sure to help with all the shifting issues on these trucks. ?
If its anything like my wife, it starts acting up when its cold. Maybe this hoodie will keep it warm and it won't be fussy.
