FP Bumper modified with ACC and sensors?![]()
Before the Yeti's facelift

Facelift underway, factory bumper off
![]()
Checking hole size for parking sensors
![]()
Snapped in after cutting the housing keyways in the test template with the trusty Dremel
![]()
End of day 1, test fitting, head scratching about ACC mounting you name it
![]()
Back after it, this was towards the end of day 2
![]()
Success, it's hung ? by the second afternoon
![]()
Nothing torqued yet
![]()
Starting to take shape though
![]()
Day 3, it's basically done. It's on, torqued, parking sensors work and passed their test.
![]()
Wasn't thrilled with my ACC mounting solution so that got reworked today. I need $8 of hardware from the Depot tomorrow and then minutes and it'll be done done.

Also have some shackle mounts coming tomorrow so I'll try and put those and the shackles on for the final photos ?
Looks good! I really like the lines from the front.![]()

Yes sirFP Bumper modified with ACC and sensors?
Having been working on it a few days and getting familiar with the inner workings, guessing it's for the winch provision.Looks good! I really like the lines from the front.
One thing I don't get about most of these after market bumpers is the stick so far forward at the top. I get it can be used as a mounting location for lights, but there has to be a better way to provide a mounting surface than a inches wide top lip.... Shrug.
I am thinking when I finally "need" a new front bumper it'll be a tube bent custom job or that relentless offroad (I think) tube bumper the have looks slick. With those, the draw back to me ends up being how much of the frame etc is exposed (how it looks)
That makes sense - wonder if there is a way to "rearrange the engine bay" to make space for the winch to be further in.Having been working on it a few days and getting familiar with the inner workings, guessing it's for the winch provision.
I figured (being new to trucks in general) the winch would mount inside the bumper somehow. The FP bumper mounts it to the rear of the bumper in front of the intercooler. So some of that protrusion is making room for the winch if you decide to install it.
Another thing I'd seen said is that this couldn't be mounted with the bumper in place, I don't believe that's the case. You would have to drop the skid plate and the little plastic air duct if you managed to get it back in place, but there's enough access from below to do it I think.
It's not as bad as it seems in photos IRL. I'm planning on some aux lighting on top that will clean it up even more. That makes sense - wonder if there is a way to "rearrange the engine bay" to make space for the winch to be further in.
In the Subaru world they move the intercooler from top mounted to front mounted to increase airflow at speed. I will need to dig behind the bumper and see what I find . . . it would probably require a functional hood scoop being added. and that is way more than I am willing to attempt. LOL If I don't like the lip, I am not going to like a hood scoop. lol
Actually what you are seeing in front of the lower radiator is the A/C condenser coil. The intercooler is in front of the upper radiator and would not interfere with the winch.Having been working on it a few days and getting familiar with the inner workings, guessing it's for the winch provision.

I've been looking too and zero luck. Found then for non-US Rangers, but nada for ours. =(Has anybody found any taillight protecting bars?

I guess Ill never look at that bumper the same again.
Daaaang yeah I’ve been having the same issue and wondering if another vehicles back light is the same size and whether I could adapt it to oursI've been looking too and zero luck. Found then for non-US Rangers, but nada for ours. =(
