At the 55k mile mark I just moved on from the stock Hankook Dynapros on the FX4, 265/65R17. I read around a bunch, nearly went Falken Wildpeak and at the last second went Toyo Open Country AT3s. Same stock tire size. Didn’t wanna mess with figuring out going larger.

All I can say is WHY did I wait so long?! These Toyos were soooo much smoother and comfier on the road than the Hankooks. The Hankooks felt like they were trying to give me kidney bruises with every bump in the road. These Toyos absorb a lot more of the hit. Suddenly the FX4 suspension doesn’t feel AS BAD.

Man…. Now I’m wondering what else I should change out…

Finally got Shelly back from the dealership, to celebrate she's getting new shoes.

That might be the most organized tire shop I’ve seen - mine looks like this… :(

This is national tire and battery, it's my 1st time using them. They were the ones local to have the terra grapplers in oem size

My vote is rear shocks. I changed mine 2 weeks ago. Holy smokes what a night and day difference. I would have changed the rear shocks the day I bought it if I had known how bad the stock ones were lol. Last week I replaced the stock Hankooks with a set of Coopers. It drives so much better between the tires and shocks.

First Oil Change today, 5,400 miles - No issues with anything over torqued, noted I have 10mm bolts for the Oil Filter Access. Did noted my Oil Filter socket (Penzoil) has a thin wall and the 3/8 drive extension sticks out and hits the oil filter, so you have to back the extension out some to get a grab on the filter. Thankfully it was not over torqued and came right off.
Cleaned out the drain trough, with Brake Clean, and wiped with rag on what I could reach.
Did make a mental note on where to place the drain pan, when pulling the filter, for next time, I only miss judged by an inch.
I also decided to check the Trans Fluid, what a PITA, covered the exhaust with a rag and managed to get to it without burning my arms. I am proud to say, I have a perfectly filled transmission.
Right at Specs (Between 4 & 5), checked it 3 times to be certain.
I would like an easier way to check it, possibly the aftermarket solution on here. (B&M?) I think.
Decided to use Motorcraft 5W30 Syn Blend and Motorcraft Oil Filter FL910S, no fuel smell noted, oil was rather dark, which is one of the reasons I decided to change it

Took the ranger in to the dealer to get the trans fluid checked. They said it was at proper level and the assistant manager said he couldn’t tell any weird shift notes during his test drive. He did say he felt it was sluggish and underpowered and almost blamed it on the OEM Tremor tires. They reset the trans computer to see if it helped any. Time will tell.
Brief update. Its been a week and idk if its a placebo but the transmission feels like it is shifting smoother now and holds gears longer between shifts. We will see if this keeps up.

You do realize that all they do is have a tech dress up like this, dance around your Ranger and shout a bunch of mumbo jumbo at it.....

Dropped it off at the stealership to have front b 4600 struts put on.

Dealership was the only place willing to do it. Actually no, only one service writer would take it.

I pulled it out of the garage and put a couple of buckets to good use.
