First oil change.
Lesson learned. Double check that filters have not changed since you last bought filter wrench caps my 3 in stock did not work on install but I was able to force it to use for removal.
Some should buy the Johnson City Ford tech a T wrench first time I had to use a 1/2 breaker bar to removal a drain plug .

The engineer that came up with the screw clips for removal of the filter should be given a pound of exlax in his stocking.

You can use an old school oil filter wrench for instl ( about a 16th turn at a time) but the kids will learn new word combos .

Next year now I know what to pre purchase already have a note in the log book .
I had my first oil change (first for me, the truck had 17k on it when I bought it), when I got home there was oil all over the frame etc. Anyone that sees my truck should know that doesn't work for me. Very disappointing from my dealer. Should it be that messy?

I did something I’m embarrassed to be admitting to. But here it is. Using those upfitter switches for the big jobs. HOHOHO.

Quick question that doesn't deserve a thread; What size screws/thread pitch for the fasters that hold the taillights in?

Today I watched my wife drive away in my truck, without me! She wanted to go to the beach today, and I'm working. We only have one beach parking pass, and it's in my truck! She did not like me taking her photo, thus the fist shaking and hiding!
Hm… She shaked you a fist for taking photos and you uploaded them here?
Now guess what will be for your next supper after she finds out. ?

It should not. Mine is a 2x4 but the oil channels worked as designed. Your tech had to drop the old filter when removing it or spun it downward

On a rare 53 degree Saturday in Northeast PA in late November, we put up some Christmas lights outside. Finished up late afternoon, so I decided to wash the Mrs. Escape, and thought there was still time to give Pepper a quick splash. They were both mainly dusty but I didn't want to use the spray detailer. Boy, it gets dark so early, but I finished while I could still see (a little). Of course it's supposed to rain tomorrow, but not planning to go anywhere...

I pulled the ARB skid plates and installed the RCI skids. They are 4mm instead of the ARB 3mm, and allows the oil to be changed without pulling the skids (there is a small hole for the drain plug).

I had to make some modifications to the transfer case skid to clear my White Knuckle sliders.

Finally finished my stereo system upgrade, added the center channel today and ordered the speaker cover for the B&O system to replace the stock non-B&O panel.
Took a while putting this all together - some existing equipment and some new.

I am far from an audiofile. Does the center channel really make that much of a difference?
Absolutely. The right way to do this would be to have a processor to create a true center that only contains the unique elements of left/right. I did a tri-mode configuration bridging the front left/right and creating the cross-over and resistor network. The key is to have this speaker raise the sound stage but not be too prominent, so the left/right speakers still provide separation. Really helps for clarity and intelligibility.

Thanks for the info. I was surprised that the design is that messy. Good to know it's not or at least shouldn't.
