Good to know! I thought I was doing pretty good with almost 20k miles in just over two years, looks like I have to drive more!
You're actually doing more than I normally do. lol

I normally don't drive this much and average around 8,000 miles a year. I had to fly out to WA and drive MP2 back which was 1,350 miles and now two weeks later we're on this month long trip which I should put sound 5,000 more miles on it. I think the two weeks I was home between getting back from WA and leaving for the trip I put on 50 miles.

Turned 4,200 miles today and I love the Fox shocks! I haven't been off road yet (just a FSR) but on the street I hate to say I like them better than my Eibach. Not that the Eibach are bad, just the Fox are a much smoother ride.
LOL, you've had it for a few weeks and have blown past my 3,032 miles over the last 13 months! =D

Happy Trails!

Btw, don't Google "Happy Trails" and look at images!

I’m glad you and Annie are enjoying your trip. You’re going to love your new basement. Well, if we can ever get it finished in time. Maybe an indoor swimming pool might be a better solution for that space. You see, we discovered this on the main level…

iPad 202.jpeg

…and we think we‘ve traced the leak to one of the bathrooms upstairs. It’s tough to say exactly which one, so just to be on the safe side, we’ve started gutting those rooms to the studs…

IMG_4357.jpeg

I’m not even sure if the crew found any actual leaking pipes or drains but the good news is, after we ripped out those shower walls, I found your 10mm. So, it really was worth all that work but don’t thank me yet - we’re not quite finished because there’s still some work to do outside.

Remember that hail storm you posted about?

I figured there must be some damage under all those interlocking pavers and who knows what it could have done to the buried gas line for your fire pit. So, just to be safe, the boys have taken it all out to carefully inspect everything. I’ll let you know if we find anything.

I hope you didn’t need any of those nice trees and shrubs. Anyway, don’t worry about the house and keep enjoying your trip.

Safe travels!
I guess there's an upside to all this. We don't have basements in AZ so now I'll have one.

This is the day I learned to use the jackhammer. Fun day, but I was really sore for a week.
Really sorry, @DukeCanBuildit for nicking that sewer line!

No problem Chris, but I’m still pissed that you re-connected it to the water supply line. I didn’t discover it for days.

Dave, it might be a good idea to let the taps run for a bit after you get home. You’ll know you’ve let them run long enough when the smell goes away. You should do it as soon as you return or that first morning coffee’s going to taste like crap. ?

Duke didn't show you "why" you got the new basement as they investigated the leak...

We just got into Hill City, SD. We got a late start this morning because someone ate to many cookies (6) before bed last night and was up with a stomach ache at 2:30am.

We did stop at Little Bighorn Battlefield which was a really great piece of history. I'll have to transfer pictures later because we haven't even eaten dinner yet and the internet here is super slow right now and I've got a ton of pics from there.

Here's the cabin we rented which is really cool. The covered pavilion is right next to it with the bbq's and fire pit which is nice because of course it's cloudy and cold now.
