Thats a hell of a ride, I like the chrome on this color/model actually. No offense to the ranger guys but I think chrome looks silly on our trucks! What's the door sticker say for payload? Congrats on the new rig!

I believe it was marked just barely over 1,700 lbs, I'll try to get the actual number and update this. This particular truck is very similar to the Rangers numbers.

We all have to move on at some point in time. And like they say, there's an ass for every seat. Some need a really big seat.
I myself love the protection of my garage with all the scumbags and bad weather out there. And I can still get to my beer fridge with the truck inside!!
And when on those two-lane highways behind a pokey dump truck, when I tell Maggie to giddy up, well, you know. Love this truck.

I'll keep you apprised of when it falls apart in 6 months. My Ranger will probably still be being built so at least I can fall back on that!

I would actually be interested in the V6's performance and economy. I honestly did not know they were using anything other than the Hemi's and the diesel.

Enjoy it, Dodge has been the only one selling with deep discounts and have lots full of inventory....kinda says something if you peek through the surface of that info.

Ranger Pride - its interesting because here in my part of Texas - the Chevy dealer has a fair bit of stock, the Dodge dealer has a decent bit as well, the Ford dealer has, literally, about 10-12 NEW cars on the lot - same with the Toyota dealer, but the Nissan dealer has nearly a full lot.

Region specific deals and likes/dislikes abound around here.

Yeah I know it, and I've only come around recently to the fact that RAMs are even "ok". I won't be working it hard though, so I'm not too concerned. They've proven themselves enough for me to buy one. That said, if things weren't so messed up I'd have been in an F150 months ago.

Thank you! Yes, the interior is incredible.

I don't have much to comment on efficiency as the truck is still under 100 miles, but its EPA rating w/4x4 is 19 city 24 hwy 21 combined. It's decently quick, but it's not really gonna blow your mind.

Looks like you got a good deal on it. I wouldn't have thought a Non-Classic could be had with that discount. Now you can spend that money testing the payload capacity going to Menard's for lumber to enlarge your garage!
