I BELIEVE you have to step up to XLT to get visor mirrors and the overhead sunglasses holder. Then to Lariat for illuminated visor mirrors.
I didn't notice those omissions in the XL/STX until I watched videos as well. They aren't listed anywhere as far as I could tell!
Well I'll try to do that. I'm going to hang around for a bit and keep my Rangers build milestones up to date for those waiting. I hope this truck disappoints all those looking down on this decision. This forum is incredible, and it's been mostly positive responses. I'm hoping to get many easy...
I'm in that boat now, I've got rubber floor mats and a console organizer to find new homes for... Thankfully nothing too big, I'm glad I stopped myself from buying more.
It is wierd... I also wasn't even considering anything from GM or the Frontier. I wouldn't mind a Titan, but they're ugly as sin. F150s are way way out of my price range right now.
I can say I only took a look out of boredom on Tuesday. Ram specifically because my mom's truck has impressed the...
The ride is phenomenal. It's incredibly comfortable! It's not an upgraded system, just the standard 6 speakers but I think it sounds pretty good. It's very basey on a flat eq but after a few tweaks it's good enough I'm not messing with it!
I'm very happy with how it looks! Nothing will change other than adding nerf bars. You definitely nailed how I'd describe the 6. It lacks the on demand torque, but once moving its got plenty of power.
Thank you for the kind words and sharing your experience!
Thank you! Yes, the interior is incredible.
I don't have much to comment on efficiency as the truck is still under 100 miles, but its EPA rating w/4x4 is 19 city 24 hwy 21 combined. It's decently quick, but it's not really gonna blow your mind.
Yeah I know it, and I've only come around recently to the fact that RAMs are even "ok". I won't be working it hard though, so I'm not too concerned. They've proven themselves enough for me to buy one. That said, if things weren't so messed up I'd have been in an F150 months ago.
I believe it was marked just barely over 1,700 lbs, I'll try to get the actual number and update this. This particular truck is very similar to the Rangers numbers.
EDIT: 1,787 payload
You basically have to pay extra to avoid chrome on full size trucks unless you get a base trim.
I'm used to full sizers and I fit better in them, I'm already missing parking in my garage though.
I picked up a 2022 RAM QuadCab LoneStar (level 1 package) V6 4x4 on Tuesday with a $9,000 discount. It came out to $22 (yes, $22) more than my Ranger MSRP and about $2500 more than my price would be after X-Plan and the PCO I received recently. The RAM stickered at $47k, and I picked it up for...
I'm still "In Production". Historically you seem to be just a bit ahead of me so hopefully mine changes to "Built" later today! Unfortunately, mine will be a rail shipment. Hopefully being around a major city will help get it moving though.
Everytime I've had to wait on a train recently, it has...
