Yeah, we’re having a heckuva time - was in Tempe earlier today and met some great young folks from ASU - invited them and some of their friends up to Dave’s to party. You wouldn’t believe how quickly word gets out on Social Media - amazing, really! Anyone know how to get guacamole ? stains out of bed sheets - don’t ask. ?

Thanks Duke! That's one reason we saved it for Wednesday morning. I'll be cooler out and we won't be so tired and will be able to enjoy it more. Plus walking around today was just enough to stretch Annie's knee out some without over doing it.
Thanks for the link Bryan. We did something similar back in AZ last summer on Lake Pleasant and it was a really fun time. Hopefully we'll have time to do this but we're only here until Friday morning and already have a full schedule planned.
Great, now I'll never be able to sleep in my bed ever gain! Duke, could you at least call American Furniture in Glendale and charge some new furniture for me? I'm sure by now you've found my spare credit card and have been having fun with that too.

Dave if you ever get over to Cayonlands National Park you need to do the White Rim Trail. Done that many years ago in our camping youth.We arrived in Moab around 11:00 and they let us check in early which was great. Dumped our stuff into the room and headed down the street to Arches NP which is a 5 minute drive from the hotel. Even with a timed entry pass you still have a long line to get in and it took a good 35 minutes. We ended up doing half the park today as we have another pass for 8:00am on Wednesday and didn't want to overdo it in the su today. As bad as I wanted to see Delicate Arch it was towards the end so it'll have to wait a little longer.
The views and arches are really amazing up close and you can't grasp the size of these until you're standing right by them.
The first lookout is called Park Avenue.
I think the first road trip once we retire will be to Houston to visit our daughter and two granddaughter. The only nice thing is we can justify the gas prices and just pay them a lot of people can’t afford to go to work. I feel very fortunate that the fuel is just a big inconvenience. I’m thinking by the time you guys get home you’ll wish you were back on the road.
