Upgrade leaf springs 2023 lariat

I have a 2023 lariat with the Fox 2.0 front lift. I want to get a Smart Cap and pull out shelf. With that said I would like to upgrade my rear leaf springs and make it a smoother ride. What do you guys recommend?

i think there are several options, but the primaries that i see are:

• leaf springs from a ranger tremor
  • a little pricey, but very comfy on the road and do a good job
• icon leaf springs
  • similar to the tremor springs, but lots of feedback that they're squeaky -- i felt like the squeaky reports made this one a non-starter
• old man emu (OME) springs
  • good product, but very firm. really intended for people who consistently will have extra weight in the bed.

based on you wanting to the the smart cap and shelf, the OME springs may be a good fit for you. i'd advise doing some research on those OME springs and consider the tremor springs. good luck!

Deaver doesn't seem to list these on their website but in other threads they are a top choice as well if you typically carry 0-250 lbs in the bed. You won't give up hauling capabilities. Here's a vendor link:

I have Icons they never made any noise they work well i put ome polyurethane bushings and greaseable pins in for more articulation the front bushings are actually for a Toyota.

The real question comes down if you want to lift the rear or not. If not I would recommend sticking with deaver. If willing to lift, I would consider changing the entire suspension and not just the rear Leafs and going to Old Man emu with BP-51

I wouldn't replace your leaf springs. Instead, put the matching FOX 2.0 rear shocks back there, then add air bags or helper springs to your existing springs. I'd go the Air bag route so you can tailor the level of your truck. Air Bags are a much better upgrade when you're adding hundreds of pounds so high up on your bed (the cap), plus a minimum camper build out. Because you will probably add water and gear back there as well, and maybe even add a roof rack to your cap. So you'll easily be 500 lbs. back there. Air Bags allow you to level you truck properly when loaded, but reduce the height when you're not loaded. Don't throw away a good set of leaf springs.

Mine only raised 3/8 and has settled to stock hiegth old man emo is a big no for me don't think they will hold up.

I don't know how much weight you have in the rear and I also don't know what Springs you picked, but those two things do matter a lot. Standard Springs without any weight will lift the rear 1.6 in. The medium will hold 660 pounds at 1.6 inches. If you pick the lightest spring while having roughly 660 lbs in the bed, that explains why

I replaced the factory monoleaf with R.O.W. rear leaf packs. Truck ride improved drastically. I highly recommend finding a multi leaf pack for the truck. Tremor springs would be the next best to the ROW springs. Not much difference. Btw I carry a couple hundred pounds of recovery gear at all times. And it took a 3" lift in the front to level the truck. Within 1/2"

Ebay, there was a thread about it with a link where the members here were getting them. I would search suspension here for the thread. I'll try to find out for you. I found the thread but checked all the links and did a search on ebay. These aren't available anymore. Have to get tremor or aftermarket springs. I'd check the wrecking yards for used tremor springs.
