Man that looks good. How bad was the rub? Was it something that can wait a little or needs to be done ASAP?

Any ride quality differences? Wonder if you can feel the wider stance at all.
Rub was really annoying.
I should have done it at the same time as the spacers.
No ride differences that I can tell so far, but it looks WAY better walking up to it.
And I find myself glancing back to see different angles.

Isnt there supposed to be a cotter key on that wheel nut? Maybe they have come up with a new way to do it?
The little collar on the nut above the hex is squeezed a small amount when the nut is made to create a locking feature. Those nuts are a one time use item. Once you have run the nut over the threads it is forced back to round and it does not grab the threads if you put it back on a second time.

Thanks for the info. Split between the 1" and 1.5" but leaning towards the 1". I will have to look into crash bar removal or replacement I guess. Good thing is I can test fit the 1" if I go that route and remove it easily till I have time to deal with the crash bars.

I'm guessing pics don't do it justice.

BTW. Had to pull the front crash bars.
Used the loosen front bumper method.
Would it be possible to share more pics? Kinda like a rear shot that shows how the rear sit against the fender?

Do you think the 1" wheel spacers would require the crash bars removed/switched?

I think you mentioned you have a 1" level kit right?

Thanks in advance.

I’ll grab a few pics of the back tomorrow.
I would bet yes, the 1” will require crash bar removal too.
No level kit for me yet, still waffling.

Thanks, the debate over 1" or 1.5" has me in grid lock.

I don't have a tremor but just an XLT, I put the 1.5 spacers on "hubcentric" and have no rubbing issues. I am completely stock. Are the ones that are rubbing running bigger tires?

Could be because the stock Tremor tire diameter is about 31.4" or so and I am guessing the offset of the wheel is different too since they advertise the Tremor to be 1" wider or something (fender flare difference).

Man that looks good from that angle for sure. Thanks for posting that. Now to consider front 1" level first or wheel spacers.

I went the spacers first. Honestly the stance doesn’t bother me all that much but the tires tucked under the wheel well was just too much to handle for a truck. To each his own. There are some really cool trucks on here that people have put lots of money into. I may get there eventually.

Looks great, I think this and the 1" level / lift are going to be my next mod. . Did you have to cut the wheel studs for the spacers? Also think it would still rub on the crash bars with a 1" lift?

No cutting of the studs. They are sunk in the spacer. Plus the wheel has cut outs on the backside.

Did you experience any balancing issues ? I had bora 2" on my old canyon Denali and you could feel a wobble at highway speeds
