A question Anthony ? Did you have the 1” spacers on when they did the alignment? I am not sure it matters .. really curious would the spacers change anything?
When I got it originally aligned it was right after getting the level done so the 1" wheel spacers were already installed. It is funny because it drove better as it was than after the first two alignments. When I got it aligned at my buddies shop, he made me a deal I could not refuse so his alignment was with the 285s on it.

Page 3 has a few pics, the only one where I am hitched to my trailer is the side shot, the angled shot I am not hitched.

The front wheel well opening with the 1" level is literally 0.5" lower than the rear one but to me, at least in photos the 2" levels look front high. I also tow a lot so this works out well for me.

I can get a rear pic this evening though. These are just some I had on hand with the 1" front level, 1" wheel spacer and 285/70/17. No rubbing that I have at least come across.

Still have the factory crash bars? I saw in the first post you said you pushed them out as far as possible but was not sure if that was still the case after the 285 tires.

Yepp. Just saw post #35 saying they were pulled
Yeah, they were pulled with the 285's. Since we did it at my buddies tire shop, we took it out to lunch before removing them and you can't really even pull into a parking spot without them rubbing. Totally need to come out.

Well, figure I would update. The Tremor now has a 1" level and 285/70/17 KO2 tires.

Had to remove the intrusion beams, will get high clearance ones soon. Was kinda spontaneous, went to my buddies shop for an alignment after having two shops do a bad alignment after the 1" level. Next thing I know we are doing tires too lol

By chance did you measure to see how much squat the Tremor had with the trailer on?

Any concerns with the 1" spacers falling off? Technically, the spacers bolt to the hub, and the wheels to the spacers. I've heard horror stories of people having entire wheels fall off.

I had everything torqued to 120lbs, which is the factory amount (as far as I could tell online). I've driven with mine for a couple thousand miles, but I'm wondering if I should be pulling them off to check.

Did you use red loctite to secure the spacers? If yes, dont worry about it. If no do that and then dont worry about it.

1/1/285 seems to be a good Tremor combo if the bars are replaced with aftermarket high clearance models yes? Do I read elsewhere that the BFG runs on the small side? Only because I'm digging the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T @ 285.

And the 285 takes some of the snap out of the power plus the reduced mileage? How is the "seat of the pants" feel with the 285? Could be cured with the Ford tune? Then have to pay for 91 in CA.....fun.

I just removed the crash bars but I am sure any of the high clearance ones will do the trick.

Not sure if the KO2 run on the small side or not but they definitely rubbed with the bars on.

Eh, mileage was not very different compared to the stock Tremor Generals. Really within margin of error it seemed.

Acceleration seems fine with the 10spd. No issues. I tow a 19' travel trailer and the only difference I noticed was needing to be in 7th gear sometimes rather than 8th on hwy cruising (head winds or climbing for example). Otherwise I still get into 8th but did see I am using 7th a bit more. No real change I could determine in mpg towing. Sure it made probably a 1mpg difference. The real pain are headwinds when I tow, that kills my mpg more than the tires did.

I want the Ford tune because why not but hearing it voids the extended warranty was a turn off considering the towing and all we do.

Hello,

Just thought I would create this for others to possibly find when searching. Just finished installing the FactionFab 1" wheel spacers and I honestly think THIS is what the Tremor should have looked like out of the factory (well, with 1" level kit up front then I think it will be perfect). At this moment the front is stock height for the Tremor.

Wheel rub, turning lock to lock and slow speed there is no rubbing. Clearance is literally probably less than 1/4" so when backing out of my driveway at lock I got some rub. Doing left and right turns on the street zero issues. I suspect if I got on my brakes at full lock it would rub once the suspension dips a little. Love the look though. (edit: Removed the plastic trim on the front crash bars after this post was made, still some rub in reverse at about 90%-100% full lock though) Updated Wheel Rub: I loosened the crash bars, pushed them forward as much as they would freely do and tightened. Seems it took care of the wheel rub. Never had any in forward but reverse and wheel turned right all the way I could only get about 90% of my steering at best, now I can lock the wheel and barely hear it. Oddly reverse and wheel turned to the left I did not have much rub, more like it was just kissing the bar, now it does not touch at all. This was done backing up slowly out of my driveway and up my driveway.

Quality on the FactionFab spacers looked great. Grade 8 studs were installed as well. Super easy install. Only tip I would offer is to clean the brake rotor surface so ensure they go on nice and even.

Edit:
Before/After, not from same day but helps show the difference, look at the mud flaps in particular.
