I posted this to my build thread but I figured I would share it here too for any Tremor owners interested in these mods.

I tackled the 2" leveling kit from Ford Ranger Lifts and 1.5" Faction Fab wheel spacers this weekend. Also completely removed the crash bars while I was in there.

Wheel spacers were super easy to install. Crash bars were a pain to get out, but overall not too bad with a cutting wheel and pry bar. The leveling kit would've been straightforward if the passenger side inner CV joint didn't separate. We ended up having to completely remove the axle to take the boot off and reseat the CV. It was impossible to do on the truck because when the CV separated, it created a vacuum inside the boot. When we removed it you could actually hear the hiss of air. After that saga was over, the rest of the install went well. Took the driver side axle nut off and had no issues with that side. Now I just need to get an alignment and should be good to go.

Any questions just ask, I probably ran into every problem possible ?. Before and after pics are below.

Looks really good!

I think after I get some Rokblokz mud flaps I will do a 1" wheel spacer. Don't need extra crap being slung up the side of the truck.
Thanks! I went back and forth between the 1" and 1.5". I'm very happy with the way it sits now.

Wish I had seen this post before having the same exact problem but installing the 1” leveling kit from ranger lifts. I have to get some wheel spacers but need to measure to see if I need 1” or 1.25” spacers in the front. Re-seating that cv-axle was a pain in my butt.

Yep... That pretty much looks like what I had going the other day. I wish I could go back in time and punch myself in the face for thinking I could do that job without removing the axle nut. Lesson learned though.

Nice looking rig BTW!

My dad was my helper doing the install and he thought i was crazy for removing the axle nut because I had to buy new sockets and a 250lb breaker bar for the job. I told him of all the war stores I heard and he just shook his head like i wasted $100

Same here, I’m a idiot for not taking 2 seconds to look before doing it lol.

Does the 2 inch kit level the tremor? I’m still in the waiting for the truck phase, so I can’t even tell what a stock tremor looks like rake wise.

Yes, IMO it sits perfectly level now with no rake.

Ugg, cant wait to level mine. I tow so I am split between 1" or 2" front w/1" rear lift. Likely will just do the 1" front for now.

I think 1" or 1.5" wheel spacer you can't go wrong. I went 1" personally and love it. I need to take more pics but that said, in person it is so much more noticeable over photos. I also plan on 275/70/17 later on down the road too.

I went to the 2” and love the look, although I don’t currently tow with my tremor. I do have a 1” rear lift sitting in its box in case I decide I want it or do start to tow.

I’m planning on a 1.5” wheel spacer and when these grabbers run out I’ll be going with a 285/75/r17 K02. From what I’ve read hear it’ll fit in the spare location, just barely but it will fit.

How's the alignment?

I believe the Tremor has the regular Ranger UCA, so I'd think you'd need UCAs for a 2" level.

Getting it aligned on Tuesday. Drives nice and straight, but the steering wheel is just a touch off. Even if I didn't have any noticeable issues I'd still be getting it aligned anyway.
