I’m hopeful that this is not a big issue, but maybe a few of you will be more knowledgeable than myself. Anytime my truck is in park or drive (0mph- idle speed) I hear an odd squeaking sound from my truck, which more specifically I believe it is my transmission. There are no squeaking sounds when I am in reverse or neutral, and this all happens at cold or warm engine temps. I did recently get an oil change through the dealer, but I don’t think this is the cause. Anyone else have/ had this issue? Some details on my truck below:
2020 Ranger XLT RWD
~56k miles
Vehicle maintained regularly, very well taken care of.
Original transmission
Stock suspension w/ leveling kit (@17k miles)
It’s none of my belts. None of this noise comes from the engine bay.
