Been having a squeak from somewhere in the far rear of the truck. Seemed to only happen when the temps got above 50 or so and more pronounced when turning. Had it to the dealer a couple of times with no luck. Brought it back again as with the temps rising, it has gotten much worse.
Dealer had it for a day and when I went to pick it up, they said they solved it. They had a few people trying to figure it out and even had the stethoscope trying to pinpoint the problem. They finally lowered the spare tire and found some rocks in there. Removed the rocks, raised the spare back and no more squeaks. Naturally I was skeptical but when I drove the truck, the squeaks were gone. Coincidence or this was the actual problem, the truck is back to quiet.
And a shout out to Eric at Inver Grove Ford for taking the time to find the problem and get it fixed. i am very grateful.
