I received an email today (9/27) stating they’re planning an early 2020 release ‍

I was told last week by eTrailer that the DeeZee damper (DZ43206) that fits the US Ranger is back ordered until March 2020. At least it’s a somewhat consistent message out of DeeZee.

I'm not sure I would say consistent - their story keeps changing. I ordered on back in December of 2018 and got like 5 changes on it being backordered. I finally cancelled the order a couple months ago when they told me January of 2020 - I figured if they couldn't ship something within a YEAR of being ordered, I didn't want to order it from them. Now that date has moved another 3 months. I think it is not right to post items for sale that clearly haven't been created - they aren't "backordered". They haven't been made yet. There is a big difference in my mind.

Got mine last week installed it today. Works like a charm. Necessary? No but a cool addition. Weight of the tailgate be damned I think Ford should have had this as a standard feature.

Ya I got mine over the weekend, it is nice just because the tailgate is so high. Installation took 5 minutes with three bolts.

Seems to me all these truck manufacturer wanting to boast the largest cargo volume keep raising the sides of the bed walls. I am 6'2" and I have a issue reaching stuff in the bed of these new trucks. Kinda like Chevy saying that they have the most tie downs. Seems like a race to finish first at something.

I have messaged him and asked and got zero response. My guess is since the DeeZee damper came out he just bailed on it even though he said they were coming. Oh well.

I ordered my kit at the end of november and they told me today than the kit is backorder until march 2020 its really sucks
