Looks like NO upgrade to v4 for us is confirmed...
“Thanks to the new architecture – which runs in-house software from a growing team – SYNC 4 will be easily upgradeable but not backward compatible”

Just got a call from Ford Parts explaining that the order was cancelled because the part was out of stock. Instructions are to contact your local dealer as they will have more information on availability.
When I asked if he could confirm if the part was actually for the 2019 US Ranger he gave...
I shared the road with a Saber Lariat Sport this AM. We did the joint admiration “Ranger wave”. I’m sure at some point there will be so many of us out there that these moments fade, but for now it’s cool seeing others and how much they clearly enjoy this truck.
There’s another thread on rattles on here you should read thru.
I have isolated at least one of the them to the sensor cover behind the rearview mirror. At low speeds/bumpy road it rattles off the wind shield. If I apply pressure it stops. I’m probably going to add a soft spacer to firm up...
I am pretty sure a contributor to the rattle is the plastic cover by the rear view mirror vibrating off the windshield.
Mine has a fair amount of play on the passenger side. I’m thinking a little felt around the edge may tighten the fit and/or absorb the noise.
Has anyone popped this cover...
Anyone else getting the “Audio Stream Detected” message at random times?
I can be listening to terrestrial radio and then it cuts off and the “Audio Stream” message appears. It happens if I’m listening to Amazon Music via Carplay too.
I’m pretty sure its an IOS problem vice a Sync/Ford...
Went to Home Depot today and got two compliments on the truck in the span of about 5 minutes. The second was followed by a, “what is this anyway?”. When I said it’s the new Ranger, there was a silent pause, followed by a, “Wow!”
Those kinds of reactions rejuvenate the smile every time.
I picked up some #14 (3/4” inner diameter) O-rings at Home Depot. Pulled my 18mm round switch out enough to make the oval plug fit as it should and then slipped two of the O-rings on to give it a finished look. All good.
Thanks all for helping with the solution!
I got my $25 bed lights installed this weekend. Thanks to those who contributed to this thread on tapping the 12V bed power supply.
I spliced the wiring harness (part #KB3Z-14A411-A) for the bed 12V socket assembly (part #: 7A2Z-19N236-A) and used crimps with glue and some heavy duty landscape...
Saw my first Ranger commercial last night around 11 PM on NBC4 Washington (DC).
Lots of muddy off-roading shots followed by a shined up truck and I think a “sophisticated “ message. Don’t quote me on that part though. By the time I realized it was the Ranger it was almost over.
I’m noticing what appears to be a passenger side rattle as well. Mine appears around 30 MPH.
It’s not the seat belt or anything in the glove box or console; checked all of those.
I know rattles can be very difficult to source as where they “sound” like they are coming from can be far away...
I was told last week by eTrailer that the DeeZee damper (DZ43206) that fits the US Ranger is back ordered until March 2020. At least it’s a somewhat consistent message out of DeeZee.
Black & chrome 3” x 5” USA flag. Goes great with the black appearance package.

I have installed a 12V power supply in my bed and now want to add some LED bed lights. Is it as simple as using a couple of quick connects to tap the positive and negative leads on the wire harness that powers the 12V socket assembly?
Anyone know which wire is the positive? I would assume...
