I could barely pickup the can of Blaster to get the photoI have to have my girlfriend do it. I'm now to weak to push the button on the spray can.
Dave, looks like you missed a few spots with the 303....How could you?!
The "Duke-a-n80r" tailgate lowering tool is now available at Dave's (@AzScorpion ) Forum Shopping (gold coin only - 2lbs)...or the DeeZee for less than 2.5 gal gas.Hmmmmm, it started to squeak after the thingamajig was installed. That suggests to me that the thingamajig is causing misalignment that will result in bigger a problem down the road - worn out bushing. Warranty? Hah, no way - “all the mods”. Before anyone suggests two thingamajigs to even things out, it will only result it both sides putting excess pressure on the bushings - both will wear out.
Abandon this project and toss the thingamajig before it becomes catastrophic - if you haven’t received your free t-shirt, it’s still not too late.
Dave, How about furnishing a mini-can of Blaster for all your 5g DEEZEE Damper owners as an incentive? With all the dust we have here this stuff seems to really work the best. I also use it to lube the window tracks in my house as the slides tend to stick from all the dust.
I think a tube of KY Jelly would be much better....it's made for lubing long shafts that go in and out.....Dave, How about furnishing a mini-can of Blaster for all your 5g DEEZEE Damper owners as an incentive?
I agree, PierreD. It only had about 250 miles on it and when it warmed up a couple days later no squeek.Dust will definitely cause a squeak, but being this new, I think the cold weather might be the culprit.
It was a little squeaky and slow in the winter from time to time for me...
BTW, enjoy that retirement!
Retirement has some great perks!...I agree, PierreD. It only had about 250 miles on it and when it warmed up a couple days later no squeek.
Retirement: Social Security and Pension; best two jobs I ever had. Love 'em so much, I've never missed a day or taken a day off!
Thanks so much!! Just installed mine and squeaking was driving me crazy!!
