That was my first thought as well.

Looked at what work was required and said "Nope. Not today."

Can I pull those codes myself, if he didn't clear them that is?
If you have Forscan you should be able to. The DTC will.most likely be set in the FCIM or the HVAC. Cant remember wich

Day 4. Truck still at dealer. They worked on it for part of the day Wednesday and did nothing to it on Thursday. Again my son works at the Chevy dealer next door so he walks over and looks. The service managers lied to me about them working on it. I called them out…they apologized. Blah blah blah. I emailed the service manager last night. No response as of this writing. Then then called me today to ask if they could replace the cabin filter. Are you kidding?!? The dash is still ripped apart 4 days after dropping it off and they call about a $15.00 filter.

My son said the service writers keep pulling the tech off my truck to do smaller jobs for “waiters”. Such BS!!

Another horrible dealership story.

Picked up the truck about 30 minutes ago....yes it took 6-working days....I'd say that is not the norm! However all seems to be working as it should and no rattles so far and no visible scratches to the interior.

Dropped the truck off yesterday since they haven’t had any new loaner vehicles I had to wait over 2 weeks. Just got a call and told me they have an SSM for this issue and have ordered a new heater box since the left side blender door is warped. Part should be in Tuesday next week. Glad they’re willing to do the work at this dealer…they also put me in a 22 lariat, which I will say is nice but they’ve really changed a lot from ‘19 crazy

Which dealership did you use? I'll avoid them.

Well I picked the truck back up. They said it would be a few days before parts were in and they would call me. Unrelated, I got a flat tire on the way home driving through construction. Grrrr....guess I'm going to get my new tires now instead of September!

Autonation in Amherst replaced the system in my daughter's 2020 explorer after mice destroyed the wires an crapped in the vents. She didn't have any complaints other than it took 2 months to get the parts an cost her $1800 since it wasn't a warranty repair.

You would think that insurance would assist with that

They did so I guess she just paid the $500 or $1K deductible. It's been a while. It happened in her garage so I don't know if it was a home owners claim or vehicle claim. She had a home owners claim for storm damage an got a new roof. She was afraid she'd get dropped from another claim but they didn't.
