Whew, I have NO IDEA how you guys can take that 110+ heat you're talking about!
It's 103 here today and my central air is beating it's brains out keeping up!
You folks must have A LOT more horsepower than I do!

Had some wicked bad thunderstorms rip through here last night. Now it’s really muggy out. Temps are just a “little” lower but not enough. Ugh ?

Hi Folks,

Had to chase to the UPS store for a critical document mailed to us...Big drop of rain coming down for about 30 seconds...That was it....done and finished, but the temp dropped from 100° to 86° in a matter of minutes....Nice and cool by comparison to the high for the day...

best,

By this logic no one should ever have any complaints because there is someone on the face of the planet that has it worse. Its a terrible fallacy.

"God I am sick of paying taxes and only have X amount of dollars left for food."

Meanwhile in Africa some kid is eating a literal mud pie held together by sawdust.

So stop complaining.

I hate it for someone stuck overseas in the sandbox, but I still hate having swamp ass too when I work in the yard. I can hate both situations for me and the other guy.

It's about finding perspective, respect and thanking those who serve.

It states nothing about "no one should ever have any complaints".

It's simple, no need to make it complicated.

What does appreciating what someone enlisted is doing have anything to do with a thread on heat. Passive aggressive remarks are not lost on some people, but by all means proceed.

So much anger..

Thus far, you're the only one with the aggressive attitude.

Have a happy 4th of July.

I'll trade Arizona 115 heat for swamp-ass Georgia 90's heat any time.

Dry heat is easy. Heat that sticks to you like napalm makes doing yard work a chore in torture.

Bug spray in GA last short term because your own sticky sweat eventually dilutes it to the point you are reapplying it once an hour.

Been through nearly 3 cans of spray in 4 days working outside getting garage pad ready. Probably got cancer by this point.
Nahhh - It was 97 here today. Breezy too.
