Not sure why this misconception is still floating around. It may have been a thing at some point, but it was probably a long long long time ago. Not, NOT trying to be a smartass. But PLEASE do not ever order shit and pay for it with a debit card. Credit card only. First sign of trouble, you even smell trouble, dispute the charge. Don't even hesitate. Covers your ass... and bank account. My cc I don't even have to call. Can dispute it right on the app. With a couple of button clicks.
Hope you get your money back. Really sucks.
I have disputed charges on my debit card and have been reimbursed just like if I had used a credit card. The only time it becomes a hassle is if you have a recurring charge, because the bank can't see a charge processing they can't stop it before it happens. In those cases you have to have it stopped at the source or worst case cancel the debit card and get a new one issued. Not, NOT trying to be a smartass. Their social media has been dead for a while now. I hope they're just swamped with work and not actually dead or something....Has Shrockworks gone belly up? I ordered skid plates, sliders and the ultralight bumper from them on May 10th. Starting about 2 months ago I contacted them multiple times and was told that my order would ship in "a couple of weeks." In the past week I've phoned and emailed, to cancel my order, with no response.
Do we have any Houston forum members that could go knock on their door?
First important difference: with a credit card, you simply don't pay the bill in dispute; with a debit card, you are out the money until the dispute is resolved in your favor and you get a refund. Second important difference: with a credit card your max liability for fraudulent activity is $50; with a debit card you have 2 days to report the activity, then your liability jumps to $500 and after 60 days you're SOL. (Some banks offer zero liability on either/both or longer time limits on debit cards, but that's a marketing thing not a general legal requirement, and you should make sure to read all the fine print--the bank definitely will.) There are basically no reasons to prefer a debit card to a credit card. (The thing I hear most often is a variation of "it keeps me from spending too much"--get some self control and a credit card!)Not sure why this misconception is still floating around. I have done charge backs from debit card purchases no problem. If you take note, most debit cards have credit card company logos on them.
That's not a good business model at all lol.No, just more focused on product than customer relations
Sounds like Ford’s business modelThat's not a good business model at all lol.
Your customers need to be the focus, they're not going to buy your crap if you have no communication with them.
You'd be surprised what companies can get away with when they produce something in a somewhat limited market. That's not a good business model at all lol.

People like to have opinions on what other people should do. ?‍That's not a good business model at all lol.
