Last evening I purchased Bilstein Shocks all the way around for $389.00 delivered to my door from Shock Surplus.
What is the going rate that everyone has paid for labor to have them installed? I reached out to 3 independent shops to have them installed. I got a price range between $800 to $1000.
Are they that involved to install?
Hopefully this is the last big expense I have to do to my 2019 before I sell it.

I paid around $600 canadian a few years ago for the front struts with an alignment at an off road specialty mechanic. dealer and other mechanics wanted north of $1000, so shop around.

i installed the rears myself, very easy even without an impact.

I have been shopping around and that seems to be the going rate. At least that price includes the alignment.

That is about what I was quoted too. Fronts are a lot of work. Rears I did in my driveway in 15 minutes. I got lucky and a mechanic did it on his own time for $450.

I paid $405 in Nov '23 to have the front shocks installed. Alignment was $135. I did the rears myself.

It's going to depend on where you live.

BTW if you are mechanically inclined and have the tools, you can do the job yourself.
