The Ford Performance kit is set to a 2" ride height in the front. The Stage 3 is set to 3". I believe this has to do with the UCA and stress on those components. Also helps to prevent the nose high ride. Cant answer your question about the rubbing part though. If yours is currently at 2.5", its probably not going to help.
Yes, 2.5" is current. I was thinking the same, but was also hoping to kill 2 birds with the suspension upgrade.

It's an online price from Ford Accessory. My Dealer is Greenway Ford. I have not talked directly to them yet, but have an appointment this Friday. Also have some points I might be able to use. Stage 3 Motor Sports has the same kit for $1,199. Might try to negotiate pricing too.
Just be aware that $1,199 kit your looking at from 5 star is not the same as the Ford/Fox kit. They are valved differently, adjustable and have less number of coils. Not saying they are worse or better, just pointing this out...Best of luck with your decision.

Update on the pricing after visiting my Dealer. Parts quoted the kit at $1,250.00 and I can use points toward the purchase if I want, but the installation was quoted at $1,000.00 for 5 hours of labor! Service Advisor said the $375 online price was for each installment. That seems a bit extreme. Thoughts?

That’s crazy. Sounds like they never installed shocks before and don’t know what to expect. Keep shopping.

Yeah keep calling around. Called 2 Ford dealers near me and I got quoted over $1,000.00 each time. Called a local suspension shop and got quoted under $500 including alignment and everything

From my understanding of FPP, the dealer has to be an approved FPP dealer. I had my FPP Fox shocks installed today. I had to drive 30 minutes away to another dealer.

It is a noticeable ride difference. I didn't mind the soft suspension. I didn't particularly like the wallowiness, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I didn't like the nose down stance, the way it comes from the factory. I like the way it rides better, now. On the road, at least, its better. The dealer I purchased the truck from wanted $3000 for the same thing. The above price included a 4 wheel alignment for $100.

Worth it, so far.
I thought it just had to be installed by an ASE certified mechanic? Sorry I know you posted a while ago, but I just bought the FP Fox kit ?

The fact anyone is paying to have this installed and paying more than few hundred is crazy... But I've also owned race cars and did the springs on my Durango and 1hr (bills 6 hours) I did my Fox 2.5 DSC kit in 3hrs, outside in the cold (24 degrees). I would have been faster but it was outside in the cold using jack stands and the 2.5 kit is more involved than the 2.0 which is totally bolt on no reservoir mounting.

Yeah me too, glad I have a good relationship with my dealer and I didn't void my warranty by installing a set of shocks and coilovers.

I've heard of Superman. I just never met him. Maybe you could do a fellow member a solid and fly to Florida and hook up the OP.

My dealer gave me a one time 10% discount on parts prior to delivery.

Ford/Fox 2.0 Level Kit $1355
Installation $360

Level kit is cheaper online. They were scarce at the time and my dealer had one the next day. They got my business.

I was quoted $881 out the door with Bilsteins....
