I have a stock 2019 Lariat 4x4, non leveled-lifted. Excessive body movement/bouncy ride are a bit much. I read where Bilstein and Eibach offer decent OEM style shocks that are a notable improvement over the stock, factory shocks. Looking for opinions and leads - thanks.

I have the Bilsteins.

No complaints.

Much improved ride.

30 minute install.

Lifetime warranty.

What's not to like?

Rear only, or all around?

I have the Bilstein 5100’s front and rear and love them. You can leave the front at the stock height, or adjust in approximate half inch increments up to 2” using the stock springs, if that is of interest to you. They ride great.

Rear only right now.

Just the rears made a big improvement.

I still haven't decided what I want to do in the front yet, but somewhat leaning toward the full Eibach kit.

Just doing the Bilsteins in the front would probably be enough, but I gravitate toward the full front replacements.

I have a mixed set up. I did Eibachs in the rear. It was probably the best single improvement I made to the truck followed by the tune. About a year later I did the Bilstein's in front set at 1.8" height increase. Ride was slightly better but not night an day like the rear. The front might ride better at stock height without loading the springs for the lift. I was looking at rear sway bars before adding the rear shocks. Now the rear feels solid an planted.

If taking the time to swap out the front struts, you might as well do a level kit or adjustable coilovers while you are in there.

I have the 4600's in the rear and it made a huge improvement in ride quality and handling. The 5100's are the exact same internally as the 4600's. The only differences are the 51's have height adjustment notches and are silver. From my research the Eibach's ride quality is nearly the same as the Bilstein's. Good luck on finding them in stock..

Got Billstein 4600s for rear at Summit Racing . Made the rear much more stable . Not sure if fronts need anything unless I decide to level it .

I had 4600s on my colorado and loved the way they felt. But if there is any thought of a lift ever just go with the 5100s

Very easy, hard part is compressing the shock to get it up in the mount. Once I figured out that you get much more leverage by working from the opposite side of the axle it was easy to do by hand.
BTW, I have Eibachs all around and it rides sooooooo much better! The Pro Sport fronts can be set from 0 to 3" higher than stock. I went mid way at 1.5" and could not be happier. If you go higher than stock, re-aim your headlights.
