If Shelby was working on a Snake version of the Ranger, it wouldn't be an XLT. How do I know? You'll see what I don't see if you look close.

I can only assume it's a faux Shelby, but in my opinion a pretty nice looking truck with a cool stance. Not really any worse than guys doing tribute Shelby's with older Mustangs. As for the tape and U-Haul, I can still only assume he's putting on some interstate miles and is trying to protect his fragile Ford paint and vinyl stripes. I has stripes on my previous Ram truck and they ended up with a lot of damage from stones and other debris. The paint held up just fine but I can't say the same for my Ranger paint....

The Shelby just drove through my parking lot at work. An older gentleman and wife, completely lost trying to find his way around here. It didn't sound like a Shelby. ?

And why would they not? No performance advantage to beginning a buildout with a Lariat.
