Rough County Install... popped out CV half shaft?

Ok so I got it popped back in.. had to rotate it a bit and use my other jack as some support

Ok so I got it popped back in.. had to rotate it a bit and use my other jack as some support
Glad you got it back in. Seems to be a common issue - even with being careful my drivers side pulled out.
Where’s the after pictures of the truck?

I hope none of the ball bearings fell out of the CV joint and into the boot! That's what mine did. Had to pull it apart and rebuild it.

I do several leveling kits and lifts on trucks every month for my job, I know this is hindsight now, but for anybody else reading this thread take the large nut off the end of the axle first and push the axle through the hub so it will slide out when you remove the upper control arm from the steering knuckle

Does it slide out or does it need to be pushed out of the knuckle? I read somewhere that it's press fit into the knuckle.
