Baja kits cv shaft not fitting

I have my bajakit for my ranger and haven't done it yet...which I'll be doing myself. How was doing the shafts? I havent seen anyone do it for the 4wd Baja kits on here. Most people have the 2wd without the extended shafts and Ive been putting it off since it was cold the last few months here in Utah. Ill probably do it this month and Im hoping I didnt get the wrong shafts. I'll do a count to make sure it's correct. Was it difficult to get the shafts off the old axle?

I bought the tool for it, I’ve tried smacking it a lot of times, I’ve tried everything in my power and ended up paying $350 for a local shop to do it all for me. The risk did not pay out for the reward. If I messed up the thread I’d have to buy a whole new axle

Well damn, Im usually up for the challenge but it looks like it might be too much for me to handle myself. I definitely dont want to have my truck sit on jack stands for days trying to get the damn shafts removed. I'll probably do the same having a local shop do the swap for the axle and do everything else myself. Doing the control arms are easy and the extended lines.
By the way did you end up swapping springs for the coils overs? I went back and forth with the team at BajaKits and they recommended I swap springs to 650 Lb since the fox 2.5 shocks are rated 550 and I a heavy front bumper and am going to swap tires to 35's.

Damn 37's are pretty crazy. I only know of one other 5th get ranger running 37's and they look gnarly. Dont forget to throw some pics when ya do!
