Ok so it literally happened again. I did have my phone with me this time, but pretty sure last night i did not.
Again I took dog out with me, and when I walked back past truck I heard a faint click and noticed the yellow lock lights were on.
I will go out tonight with my phone and without and...
So I took my dog out last night. I was not carrying my keys. And as I walked past the truck I heard that noise of the electrical click as if you were unlocking the door. I'm sure you know that little sound it makes like something flipping on in the engine somewhere.
Also the locked door...
I somehow always sweat the small stuff! haha. But okay, will let it go. Just figured for paying for the service they could at least give me a few extra drops! :)
Goal is to start to tackle this stuff at home anyway, so probably a good break off point.
I had a coolant flush done at dealer service along with an oil change at 39k miles.
I had noticed the coolant was below MIN at cold when I brought it in, but the next morning after the flush I checked it and was surprised to still see it below MIN. It lined up with the bottom of the triangle...
Ford tune done 4k miles or more ago. Computer says 17.0 using normal driving of highway and freeway- but using pump calc it's 16mpg. If I drive it harder, it's less than that. Slightly larger tires, with ford performance suspension upgrade. Does include the computer recal for the new tires. 4x4...
Yup, still happens to me. 36,000 miles in so far. Seems to be mainly from rear wheel well. Can't find it, and it dissipates quickly. Seems to happen mostly when diving a road with a lot of turns, fast or slow. S-mode I think makes it occur more.
I now think I'm crazy.
Ok. I drove like a baby for 1.3 tanks. Truck calculated at 19.9 mph which is mix of highway and city (literally dropped to 19.9 from 20.0 when pulled into gas station). And a fair deal of highway. Kept below 70mph. Used boost maybe once or twice the entire time. Otherwise had a total zen driving...
I guess that makes sense if you were keeping it around a constant speed and were maybe drafting some trucks. The elevation gain between Baton Rouge and Longview is only 1500ft over 300 miles, so pretty flat. I recently drove from LA to Medford OR and got around 20mpg but that is 25,000 ft gain...
(Did not read fine print) ?
edit: this was what I thought thr warranty was. 3/36 for tune, but no change to other warrant (power train still 5/60)

I don’t think anyone sided with what Frenchy is...
The problem is I live in LA and there are soooo many times smoking the douche trying to pass me in the on ramp shoulder just feels sooooo good. There are also a lot of Tacoma drivers… and you know how that is. I’m not a challenging driver, but I’m always up to the challenge…
maybe this new...
