With over two years and 22,000 miles on my 2019 XLT my lifetime MPG is 18.6. Probably 70% in town and 30% freeway. I don't race around but don't baby it either. The truck performs well with the Ford tune and I have had no problems with it. My bigger/wider tires probably affect the fuel...
I do own the Livernois tunes but have only dyno'd the towing tune and 91 octane tune. Currently I am running the Ford Performance tune. The Livernois tune made about the same horsepower but a little more torque than the Ford tune. My transmission likes the Ford tune way better and I really could...
It is posted here somewhere. Don't remember where or the exact numbers. I'll try to find the photo I took of the print out when I get a chance. There was not much difference between the Livernois and Ford tunes on the horsepower. I ultimately went with the Ford tune since my transmission behaves...
Never leave anything in the truck that a person can see when looking in the windows. They won't break in if they can't see anything that might be of value.
The Dodge V6 is pretty anemic in a fullsized truck. You better drive one before you get excited about the extra room. Especially if you have driven a Ranger.
If it were mine I'd hope for it to be a total loss. The damage you can't see is what makes it difficult to bring it back to near 100%. Just my opinion.
I think there is validity in that thinking. That is why I am going with the 5000 mile interval. I will continue to use full synthetic. I drive 8,000/10,000 miles per year so a couple hundred bucks a year is no biggie. My dilution level should be under 3% at all times. Probably less since there...
I have had two reports done. Thought I would post the results here. I am a little concerned but not alarmed at this point. I will probably use 5000 miles as my oil change interval.
I don't think I had to do that. But it has been a while so I could be wrong. I am currently running the Ford tune and FORScan works fine. Even when I don't load the previous profile and force it to create a new one it works as it should.
I did end up having to buy the OBDII cable that is...
Thanks for the video. It has been a while since I have used FORScan and it was great for refreshing my memory.
The fake engine noise was terrible after installing a powered sub woofer under the passenger seat. Never really noticed it before that.
A big THANK YOU to the FORScan folks! I have used...
