As part of my gauge pods I needed a tray to attach them to and thought.... it might be nice to have a removable tray.
Very nice...did you have the OEM tray scanned? I wish my printer was large enough to make this in one piece...

Never had good luck scanning things, I drew this in CAD. It fits real nice. And as mentioned it's the bottom of my 4 gauge upper half. I curved the flanges to fit to the OEM cover, though it could be made as a OEM replacement.

You must have a pretty large printer...this is too big for my Ender 3 to print in one piece...
I've got a few: Creality Ender 3 and a Creality CR10, but they are JUNK compared to my Bambu Lab X1-Carbon. It makes them look like toys! The X1 is all I use now.

I just uploaded the STEP file and did a quote from PCBWAY
$10.71 for Resin
$21.16 for Nylon
$21.16 for ABS
$38.09 for ASA
$121.52 for Aluminum
$236.62 for Stainless Steel

It will fit on an Ender 3, unless they made a smaller version somewhere along the line:

That's odd...I have an Ender 3 S1 with 220 x 220 x 270 tall build box but doesn't fit in Cura slicer...

Yep, don't need it for this one for sure.

Fwiw, cura didn't slice the 'ranger' properly on mine for some reason, might want to look at the gcode output.

Where does this tray go, on top center dash? I am not understanding what purpose it serves. Thanks!

OP designed this as a drop in and I think it serves as a base to his gauge pod...not sure how they go together...

James, I was thinking the same thing. What’s it for? Does it just drop in? How is it different than what’s already there? If it’s simply a tray liner, what’s the point? Then, it dawned on me…
