To be honest I came in from the top with long extensions and a swivel with a breaker bar and still had issues breaking it loose. What I didn't want to post was, yes it needed to be shocked so I used a ryobi 18v impact and hit the trigger sparingly/gingerly to get it loose. I don't want someone impacting and breaking something is why I didn't post this as at 69 I still couldn't break it loose. I'm not telling anyone to use an impact but if your careful as I was it works.I don't recall if I needed an extension - if I did, it was just a shorty. Turn the wheels to the left full lock to get better access.
Once I did that it was WAY easier - took me all of a couple minutes. My sausage fingers had trouble in the confined space otherwise. You go over the frame rail, thru the exhaust basically - it only works if it is cold - if it were hot, the cat would be tough to work around.
By the way I was at F__k it time when I used the impact as a last resort
