Yeah the B&M one looks like it has to lay down to be able to shut the hoodYeah, I like that too, just hoping for a more upright position. It really doesn't matter as I can fabricate the piece easily enough. He's done the heavy lifting.
I was having the same issue with the B&M one... only it was longer!
This. I'm down.Where do I sent money? ?![]()
Fabulous job! Now just let us know where to send the money and how much.Ha, I knew it would come up, there are 2 options, 3D printed funnel, or take out the adapter fitting and thread in a flexible extension or elbow, or there is always the flexible trans funnel.
It looks simple, but I spent many hours with that thing in every position you could possibly imagine, with many different lengths and angles, the overall best fit? out past the DI pump, pointing at the battery, looked too funky and anything out the right is close to the turbo, my main concerns were keeping it off the body, no harsh bends, away from the turbo and with factory looks if possible.
That's why it's in the position it's in, In my opinion, it is the best compromise between fit, function and factory looks.
Now I'm off to get a pile of hoses built, bracket/fitting models and machine work.
Thanks for everybody's interest, its been good motivation.

Very thoughtful development...I've printed a custom oil funnel so making another one for trans is no brainer...Ha, I knew it would come up, there are 2 options, 3D printed funnel, or take out the adapter fitting and thread in a flexible extension or elbow, or there is always the flexible trans funnel.

Too fat...Would the fuel tank funnel work?
You beat me to it!FitzStik
Have you looked at the poll numbers and done some math?!...? ??Ha, I knew it would come up, there are 2 options, 3D printed funnel, or take out the adapter fitting and thread in a flexible extension or elbow, or there is always the flexible trans funnel.
