I've heard rumors that these will fit with a 2.5inch level kit (spacers) on a 2020 STX. Can anyone out there solidly confirm this?

I am not lifted with a spacer kit, but I am lifted 2.5 inches with coilovers. I am running BFG K02 275/70x17 on oem wheels. Once in a great while I hear something that sounds like a minor rub on the driver's side front. I have yet to find the rub marks, so I am not sure what is connecting.

They will fit but you might have some rubbing.

I have the following setup...

275/70/17 General Grabber A/T (32.2”) - pretty much a KO2 twin
RC 2-1/2” Level - no rubbing and crash bars are in tact but I am very close to the rear bars (1/4”), even after loosening the bolts and pushing the bars back as far as they will go. I will likely rub under hard braking or compression when I’m off-road. I am installing ReadyLIFT Anti-Intrusion Beams as a precaution. I also have to re-calibrate my speedometer becaose of the increase in circumference.

From my experience and what I’ve read on here, 275/70/17 is better suited to a slightly larger lift/level - 3”. It really is pushing things to the edge on a 2“ or 2-1/2” level.

265/70/17s (31.6”) will fill your wheel well just as nicely and give you a nice wide profile. They are less than 1/2” narrower and about 1/2” shorter but your bars should be fine. There are plenty of rigs on here with 265s and they look great - just check some of the Showcases.

There is a handy offset tool here. You input your tire size and offset (+55 for stock Ranger) and your proposed setup size. It will tell you (and show you) how much further in or out your tires will be based on new tire size and wheel offset. It is also good for comparing the 265s to the 275s on your stock wheels - see image below.

The other option is an LT255/75R17/C in the K02. It's 9 lbs. lighter and just as tall - 32.1" vs 32.2". No rubbing issues at all. Tread is 1/2" narrower.

And those pizza cutter 255s will perform better in deep snow.
