Would block license plate and plate needs to be seen in most states

Voted No. Covers the rear camera.

If I'm going to do an alternate tire mount, I'm more a fan of prerunner style or bed mount options.

Love the look of this. If I could do a rear mounted tire without losing the back up camera, I’d definitely do it

I like the idea. If you need to swap a tire on the trail, then this is far easier than the underbed standard. I don't like bed-stored ideas since I have a cover. So, was curious what was out there for hitch-mounted or bumper replacement ideas. Off center is cool since it gives you access to put the jerrycan on the other side. Really good idea. Like others have said, losing the backup camera is problematic. Maybe the camera could be relocated. Yeah, I know, not a simple task. I've seen the wiring harness.

I don't understand the comment about trying to make a Ranger into something it isn't. That's just weird. I bought this truck for weekend warrior projects and off road fun. I think most of us did. This truck is great for those objectives without being ridiculously large and without being a one-trick pony. Now, if you're getting this just to drive around town, I wouldn't really understand that choice, but wouldn't criticize it. I reserve that kind of judgement for mall-crawlers.

So, I wouldn't be a customer for this specific design, but like the idea a lot.

It would be cool if someone made a jerry can holder that swung out that connects to the stock bumper/frame. Obviously without blocking the camera. Not everyone needs a spare tire mount.

I'm not a fan of the look on a pick-up, but LOVE the functionality. Dealing with over-sized spares and a fully loaded truck is a PITA, especially if you actually need to use it. Anytime you can get it accessible and not constantly in the way is good.

Well done.

Between the license plate and camera loss and this.
I honestly don't know the answer to this question... I'm sure it's going to be as good as anything else on the market we just haven't done the testing on this yet.. Sorry for the non answer....
Doesn't sound very well thought out or engineered.

Both are easily relocated. There are a couple companies that make extension harnesses.

License plate is easy, sure.

Camara, to do it well and look good, I don't know about that.

The big question mark to me is the reciever and the response "it should be good enough."

Yeah - If I end up with a rear mounted spare, I plan on keeping my aftermarket receiver and will run a bumper approprate for that. I'm not screwing with my tow rating! ?

Definitely an off reader thing. Not for towing a camper.

Jarry can holder the when you swing it out have a drop down table. That would be awesome
