My ‘22 ranger is fairly modified and it gets driven rather hard and in some rough terrain that being said it does get overly maintained to somewhat compensate my only issue I have is that I’ve already went through 3 passenger side inner axles and am wanting to know if anybody has a fix for this this image was from today the oil only had 5k miles on it and is TRASHED

Pretty certain doesn’t seem to be a drag or any sort of noise which usually comes with a bent axle housing I believe

Front or rear? What mods in that area?

And holy crap. Something is wrong or bent for sure.

After 3 axles, I'd want to look at the spool splines and see if they are boogered...
Also, are these stock replacement axles or some trick after market?? Wondering if they did not get a proper hardening treatment...

Be the issue I would believe the would need to be extra free play ik tge inner axle and during installation everything seems fine. Very strange to me I have talked to the local ford here and they believe its just for driving habits which definetly does not help

Front or rear? Either way we do not have the most durable axles out there. Get stronger aftermarket shafts, look into an f150 rear axle and narrow it down, bronco front axle housing is beefier as well.

Otherwise a rear axle truss could help if you are beating it so hard it is flexing a little. But that would not be the right way.

It is the rear and I have many cut files for rear axle trusses the thought crossed my mind but not sure how much I like it

Well they are getting shredded for some reason. You could weld it on and fully weld the tubes to the housing. Easy to do if you can make it yourself and weld. Hardened axle shafts and an upgrade carrier would be next. The tubes are spot welded I believe. Wonder how much deflection they have.

Not sure the deflection but I do plan on looking into this since I just happen to be a welder and have access to a few different shops I believe better axles would greatly improve this

The Jeep Gladiator uses the same rear axle and you might find more aftermarket parts listed for that although I don't know if the width is the same, and hence the axle length.
Jeep people like to buy lots of stuff. Jeep = Just Empty Every Pocket.
Agree that something is either bent or tweaked or the axles aren't being properly installed.
Check the housing carefully to make sure it's not bent and think about getting an axle truss.

Based on the OP I think he is doing the install himself. How can you mess up putting in an axle shaft? To the point of getting destroyed. Unless the first break damaged the carrier?
