I would reach out to them and see what they are willing to do. That's definitely unacceptable.I do like their skids. I do have an oxidation forming already from 2 months on the vehicle at the front top crease on my skid. Just from driving. I haven’t scratched them yet. Seems powder coat wasn’t great in that spot. I’ll post a picture later. Kinda bummed it’s rusted/pitted already.
They are to totally different types. The FX4 is more of a brush / gravel guard, you'll bust right through it on an actual rock. The RCI ones are heavy duty for hard trail use, two different use cases really.I ended up going with the FX4 skid plate. RCI seems like a more heavy duty plate but for some reason I just find the look of the FX4 one a little more appealing. Time will tell if I made the right call!
Damn it lol. Well heres to testing the limits of the FX4 plate until it goes out on me! Unless its too late to cancel my order with Levittown..They are to totally different types. Had the FX4 plates and they did just fine. Unless you are truly trying to hit giant boulders for absolutely no reason then you should not be where you are with a RangerThey are to totally different types. Agreed, that got a hearty chuckle when I pulled it off.The front is okay. But to call this a skid is silly.
