I created this spread sheet over a month ago. It might help you out.
This spread sheet is super helpful for figuring out desired tire size.
Thank you Charley!

You are welcome! Having the info is great, plus being able to look up and take a look at the different Rangers really helped as well.
Since initially I did not plan to share that, now that I have, I do need to pass on a HUGE THANKS to all of the folks who provided their info that I compiled into that spreadsheet.

That spread sheet is pretty cool. Thanks for going to all that trouble to compile it. I was surprised to see my self included. Hopefully it will help others with their modifications. It can be time consuming to search through the forum for the info you are looking for. That might make a good sticky post or Wiki that others could contribute to.

Hi Charley,
Thanks again for your effort on the spreadsheet, it will be a great help to everyone.
almost forgot....Ford Performance Fox Off Road Shock kit M-18000-R.
If you wish, you can add my truck to the list. LT265/70R18 BFG K02s. I haven't had time to do an interference test, but I've tried opposite lock, and is good so far. Will update later.

I am to have been able to contribute. I have certainly learned, and gleaned a lot of info from others.

It would be nice if it could become a shared document on the forum so members could add their data.

What started off as simple stock wheels, lift/no lift tire size chart quickly grew out of control with all the options - how much lift, crash bars, spacers, wheel offset, spouse knows you upgraded, etc.......

I just ordered the Ford Performance leveling kit from SummitRacing.com. They are offering a $100 discount ending today. I paid total of $1488 with free shipping. Can't wait to receive them so I can get them installed.

Ordered the kit, got really excited, then FedEx lost it for a couple days.

Finally showed up yesterday, and one of the coilovers is defective. One of the top studs just spins in place.

So that's cool.

The only downside that I experienced was a slight loss in MPG, which makes sense, given that the truck will be slightly less aerodynamic with the front end two inches higher than before. Otherwise, I love that kit, best thing I have added to the Ranger. It smooths out the ride, gets you more clearance underneath, and gives you a higher position with better vision. If you do decide to order, you can get it for about 250.00 cheaper at https://www.levittownfordparts.com/part-ymm/2019-ford-ranger-suspension-kit.html. Wish I had known that at the time! Live and learn....

I recently purchased a 2019 Lariat FX4 and don't know all that much about trucks, so apologies in advance for this newb question. After reading through this thread, I'm wondering why so many went with the FX4 trim only to upgrade the suspension later? Wouldn't it make sense to just go with 4wd and upgrade from there, or is there more to the FX4 package than shocks?

Locking rear diff, skid plates, and trail control are still very much worth the FX4 premium.

We also didn't know the FX4 shocks would be so floaty from the factory...

Do you really need UCAs with the FOX 2.0 kit?

Well I got them anyway lol.

Can my 2WD Ranger dudes post some pics and results of the Fox suspension level/lift?
I have heard a couple different “results” about height and would like to know how much lift I will truly get on a 2WD truck.
I have a true 3” level and really want to stay around that height. Pics and info welcomed.

It is very, very hard to make a vehicle that addresses all the countries of the world We tried in 1981 with the Escort...a World Car. It was an epic fail...I spent two months last year in New Zealand and Australia. In NZ the Ranger was the #1 selling vehicle...they were everywhere. So one day, Margie and I were walking around the Campground and this fellow had a Magnetic Ranger Wildtrack. I introduced myself as the former head of Ranger Vehicle Engineering and he was besides himself. He showed me every inch of the Wildtrack. While similar, I determined that there were many differences to the USA Ranger when I purchased mine in late March of this year. Thus I caution folks to beware that things are different here...It is not like a an Niki running shoe...one size does not fit all.

Best,

I for one thank you for your work on the Ranger. I had a 94 XLT super cab that when I sold it had 390,000 miles on it. Now I'm driving a 19 STX FX4 crew cab

no, I just put the FORD/FOX kit on mine and it works great. it took my son and I 2 hours to install both front and rear, but I was a FORD master tech for 20+ years
