Hey peeps, I have the Ford Performance Fox leveling kit for my 2020 Ranger that I would like to sell but I was wondering if it is even worth it. They do need to be rebuilt, I replaced them with a set of Eibachs and didn't know what else to do besides sell them. Can anyone guide me in the best direction to sell them? Also, should I sell them for less and not rebuild them or should I have them rebuilt then sell them? Any truthful feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

What's the cost to get them rebuilt? If it's like $600, people will likely just opt for a new set and you'll want to know that up front.
When it comes to selling used shocks, if you're willing to ship, keep that cost in mind. The front coilover setups are pretty heavy and can be costly to ship.

My understanding is that a Fox shock rebuild costs upwards of $100 per shock.

Rebuilding Fox shocks costs between $100 and $275 per shock for professional labor, plus the cost of wear parts. If you do it yourself, seal kits cost roughly $30 to $150. Prices vary by discipline and shock size. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Truck & Off-Road Shocks:
  • 2.0 Series: $125 to $150 each
  • 2.5 Series: $175 to $200 each
    • 3.0 Series: $200 to $275 each
    • Note: Professional shops often offer full-vehicle (all 4 shocks) discounts (e.g., about $510 to $680 for a set of four)
