I wanted black but Brandon (@dondonbabyraptor ) convinced me to go with red for that very reason. ?

Well I pretty much ran out of play money after the last mod...you know...the one that costed me complete tranny replacement...I'm hoping this dipstick mod will better help with monitoring the actual fluid level during full operating temps...

That was definitely a pricey mod Sid but just think, 95k more trouble free miles.

It seems like a very useful aftermarket product, especially when some of the Ford dealerships have told owners there is no way to check the transmission fluid level, even though there is but it’s such a PITA to do on your own. This will help. ?

I've never done a full temp forearm burn check...it was hard enough to do a cold running check...thank God for this new product...now I can be confident in checking the level without crawling under a HOT RUNNING TRUCK!!!!

Mission accomplished...MBS remote transmission dip stick is a total successful installation...asides from dropping and loosing the M6 bolt, everything else went without much of hitch...I am very impressed with how MBS managed to engineer every bend to within such good tolerance without having the vehicle apart...I can appreciate the hours and hours of trial and error it took to get here...well done Mike @Fitzmotor ?

good grief sids truck is cleaner under the hood than my local hospital

I have/had but only cold running...which I suspect...hence the entire reason for this product request, for which MBS has fulfilled with flying colors...checking today when I go run errands...

ahh gotcha, even cold I just figured since you are down there pulling the shorty it would be worth it to check the level and see if it aligns with the new one.

MBS has validated the markings many times before he was confident enough to put it into production...I'm confident that the reading will be accurate especially now it's taken at full operating temperatures...
