The ko2 is THE a/t tire. It's not perfect at any one terrain or street. But darn good at all of them. It's tough as a work boot too.

What magic is this lol i have 2.5 all around high clearance crash bars and still needed new wheels .
I think he’s lifted high enough that everything’s out of harm’s way - there are aftermarket UCAs and it just looks higher than average.

the pizza cutters on a trail in everything except for sloshy mud and snow are great. however, after feeling the difference of stability with the 285 and wider track it would be tough to go back. the truck is much more planted.

I'd be curious to feel the difference. I didn't think about it being more stable with wider tires (makes sense). I'm on 255/75/17 and was planning on staying with 255 on my next set but bigger.

I can't say if it's the tires or the off set but both combined make the truck feel pretty stable. It was not loose or squirrely on 265 and stock offset but it did make a difference

Another Pizza Cutter option is gonna be the 34x10.50
I'm running mine on a Stock Wheels with no spacers. and the truck sits at about a 2'' lift. High Clearance Crash bars. And a touch of Rubbing off road on the Frame.

Is 34x10.5 the actual size or is it a metric size?

34x10.50R17 is the actual size, only 2 or 3 tires are available in it. Toyo AT3, KO2, and some Interco option.
They measure right at 33" tall and about 10" Wide

So I am reaching the point of having to replace my tires. I really like how yours looks, and I want to run my factory wheels.
I do have 1" spacers, not sure how that will affect rubbing. I currently have a 2.25" spacer lift, but I have some Fox 2.0's to replace them with.
So if I understand correctly, other than installing my new struts, all I have to do is remove the crash bars to make the 34x10.50's fit correctly.

Currently running 255/80/r17s on my Ranger. Has Eibach 2.0 coilovers set at about 2” of lift and a 1” rear shackle. Stock wheels with no spacers, I did have to loosen the crash bars and adjust them for more clearance but otherwise no problems. I previously had 285/70/r17s and they definitely looked cooler and rode a bit softer despite also being a 10 ply. These are better on snow and ice for sure, though.
Next time I need tires I’ll be going for a 285/75/r17 which is more like a 34” tall tire.
