Okay, leafs are in!

The truck is definitely not the ranger I bought a year ago. With the front coils and now these leaf springs it rides so much better.

Rear of the truck feels smoother over bumps, gained 1.5” of lift over stock leafs with 400 lbs of gear in/on the bed.

Axle now articulated further than it ever has and the shocks fully extend when the truck flexes. A must do upgrade imo if you want to do some serious off roading.

Wow, those look so much better than the stock leafs! Did you remove your BDS shackles?

1.5" taller with 400lbs in the bed means even with a fair amount more weight it won't be nose high. Thanks for trying them out for the rest of us!

Yeah the BDS shackles have been replaced with the OME shackles. They are quite a bit better in build than the BDS to be honest.

They are grease-able as well with better bushings. The kit will come with bushings to replace all the factory ones. Including the larger front one.

Incase anyone wants to compare sizes.. here’s where the truck is sitting now with a 3/4 inch rake from front to rear.

Did you use any of the factory shims/spacers under the leaf pack ? Does it sit level now ?
I know there is quite a variance in factory leaf packs and "the lean".
Rear wheel well measurement requested.

I did reuse the 1/4 shim that was on the drivers side from the factory.
Attached are the current rear heights.

It sits level with the one shim on the driver's side? Sorry, The I couldn't tell where the bottom of the fender is on the bottom pic; both at 40.75" approximately?

It’s an 1/8th of an inch different from one side to the other. Which is pretty acceptable imo since the fuel tank is on the side that’s lower along with my tool box. 40.75” is correct on drivers side measurement.

So Santa came early this year for me. This is just a standard kit from ARB. I myself don't need the extra load at this time since I don't have any extra equipment. I plan to get all of this installed on Monday and we'll let everyone know my results afterwards on what I think. I am really looking forward to having this kit installed.
