Duke, I see you finally have the right colored truck in your avatar. :giggle:
Of course, I had to have someone help me with that. It still looks the same to me. ?

Now, when I change my avatar, people will wonder what the heck AzScorpion is talking about. ?

Now I see you're back to the wrong color in your avatar. For those who don't know Duke is color blind and thought all this time he had a black truck when it was really white.

I swear, my truck keeps changing colour on me depending on how the sun hits it.

That's that cactus green right ?
I’m really not sure Bret. Saber Green, Cactus Blue, Lightning Grey, Shadow White, Oxford Black - they all look the same to me.

What's up guys I am new here and I've had my Ranger since June 2019. Recently decided to do some mods. I got the 2" BDS lift with NX2 shocks, MBRP turn down exhaust, K&N air filter and TOYO opencountry AT3 coming in pictures will follow soon!

I was thinking of doing a straight pipe to exhaust what do you guys think?

ps. I daily drive her :)

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum from Brisbane Australia. Currently driving a 2015 Ranger Supercab. This model is pre the facelift model you in the USA now get. I upgrade from a Nissan Single Cab Hardbody and missed the extra bed length so much that I bought a Ranger Single Cab Bed yesterday and have booked in for a chassis stretch.

Personally, I'm not a fan, but I know some people on here like it. I welded in a flowmaster muffler in place of the stock one. It sounds good to me, and was comparatively cheap. All personal preference. Oh I forgot, welcome!

Isn't your bed 6' now on the super cab?

Yes it is, but that's far too short for moving around a lot of the things I do. I still have my old Nissan Hardbody Single Cab for now as I am constantly changing between the two depending on what I am doing. Even my mountain bikes don't fit inside the back of the Ranger without removing a wheel. I only had the vehicle for a couple of months before I'd had enough and decided to go down this path.

I don't know if it done much elsewhere but in Australia it is quite common for Super Crew owners to do 300mm chassis stretches and fit SuperCab Tubs. There are companies all around the country that specialise in this with a 1 week drive in/drive out service. To date I have never seen a SuperCab stretch though, and here we haven't had a Single Cab factory delivered with a Tub/Bed back since 2015 so they are very hard to get (and quite expensive). South Africa still get Single Cabs with factory Tubs across a lot of the range.

Hi Duncan,

How to the the modifiers handle the rear wheel house? Do they more the rear axle aft and lengthen the driveshaft? Or do they modify the rear box panels? Quite a serious mod...

Hi Phil,

Actually not to bad at all structurally. They stagger cut the chassis "C" sections under the cab forward of the center tailshaft bearing carrier and in my case add approx 500mm. Then you get a new front tailshaft fabricated. Everything aft of that is standard Ranger so no change to diff or suspension required (unless you so choose). I already have an OEM Ford rear wiring harness for a Single Cab so that everything will be exactly as Ford spec'd it aft of the rear firewall. The only additions are an insert section for standard brake and fuel lines and a longer park brake cable. Being an Aerospace Engineer I am pretty fussy about my mod details and I am pretty happy with the way it is done. Theses stretches are fully approved by our Transport Authority and receive mod certificates. The chassis builder I hope to use specialises in very high horsepower modes in muscle and drag cars that are street legal so I am thinking that the lowly Ranger will do ok.

I don't assume that you guys receive Single Cabs over there but this is what they look like, nice long bed.

What we don't really get in Australia is large (affordable) pick-ups. My Dad had a 1980 F-250 crew cab with the long bed (in orange) and the thing was huge. From memory it was a 351 petrol engine. Until about 2 years ago no manufacturer brought any American Pick-ups into Australia, they all had to be private imports and then locally converted to right hand drive. Now Dodge brings in the Rams but a 1500 with petrol Hemi starts at around 90K on-road. My Uncle bought a second hand Ram 2500 diesel a few years ago to tow his big 5 horse float and it cost him over $140K

Most people call me Doc (not a Dr just a childhood nickname).

Just got my Cyber Orange 2wd XLT on 2/28.

Hello everyone. My name is Terry and I am from Tennessee. My wife recently (a few weeks ago) purchased for me a new 2021 Ranger XLT. I am 45 years old and this is my very first truck...I have always been a car guy. That is until now. After driving my truck for the past couple of weeks I can never see myself going back to a car. The more I drive my truck the more I find myself wanting to drive it.

I have read through a lot of threads here over the past few weeks and I am glad to have found a place for people like me that love their truck and want to talk to fellow Ranger owners, whether it’s for help, tips, tricks or ideas to make you Ranger a more personalized ride. I look forward to talking with everyone here. I hope everyone has a great day!
